The last time we failed to beat Oz in RSA was in 2011. Even last year with the team from hell Morne was enough to get us home by a comfortable 8 points. Fast forward to this year and our tight forwards led by the Beast and Etzebeth dominated the forward exchanges, giving our backs great ball. And Louw slowed up the Aussie ball. But we have no centres....yes they beat a few forward tackles....but almost every time they coughed up the ball ...5 times in all. And Step missed 3 of his 6 tackle attempts. .. Then there was the hapless Dreyer who conceded 2 penalties, matched only by Kitshoff in his short time on the park. .. I see Venter is now advising fans not to watch if they can't respect the effort. When coaching staffs start saying stuff like that, they need to be fired. .. Few, a very few saw this coming....i wonder if our WC team would have put 20 points on Oz today.

Couldn't be further from the truth....I'm bemused by how quickly we have accepted mediocrity.....how much rubbish we are prepared to accept. Coetzee is a disaster, he has to go. But what about Smith who doesn't rate defence and Venter who tells Bok fans who are critical not to watch the games. When we were winning those two were the architects....now that we are losing Coetzee is the architect. My own guess is Coetzee has very little to do with the team beyond having a veto on selection.
