.....maybe, but their activities with national teams hardly supports these views. Has Smith made any improvement in Bok back play on this tour? And Ackerman flopped with the "A" team. More tellingly none of the players they coached....Combrink, Venter, Mapoe, Jantjies, Faf, Redlinghuis, Marx, Mostert, Kriel and Whiteley ....have made a clear cut case to be retained. That has to be concerning. We really have to stop knee jerking to the next theory without asking a few tough questions. For example is Ackerman really the guy who created the Lions' solid year? Does he really have the smarts to take on Hansen and Eddie....dunno, but I have my doubts.

 Si=o who do you think should be the coach to replace Coetzee?   I doubt not that you will come up with White.   After his Sharks fiasco of 2014  I have even more serious doubts about him than you can ever have about Ackerman and Smith.  

 Slotting ANY South African in would be a mistake.
Too many "ja broers" seeking favour from those in charge.
Ackerman is no different.
