So where do you stand regarding Rassie

With the anti Rassie group having had the EGG land big time are there any here still mocking Rassie or have those oaks realized the error of their ways. 

I don't see any reason for jubilation. I'm reviewing the game again, sifting everything, and I must say this was not very impressive at all. In my first view through, the same problems emerging as always. Attack is way behind Australia and New Zealand. Far behind Coetzee's Boks. This is the clunky Stormers game at test level, it's uncanny. Is he the worst coach? No. Is he a bad coach? No. He is an average coach. The players seem to respect and believe in him, and that's commendable, but the development just isn't there. A lot of what I saw on Saturday was a poor gameplan inhibiting players. In my opinion at least, it's a blunder to persist with the Skop 'N Pop game when one doesn't possess aerially dominant players. There were so many missed opportunities to advance the ball on the ground. Wasted. Needlessly wasted. 

Worse yet, our defence isn't as strong as many seem to believe. Statistically third in the RC now. 

This team is well behind the rest of the top 10 nations with it's bland, languid and clunky game. 

This is typical; BS dreamed up by the Idiot Speaker on site.   According to the above the team is useless and worse than under Coetzee.   Fact is the team is not perfect - but is putting up better performances than under the useless and extra dumb Meyer and Coetzee.   One wonders why they are so ridiculously stupid when it comes to rugby performance evaluation.  

This from the idiot who claims that under Coetzee the team was better =yet they lost matches by cricket score margins - this from an idiot who made such ridiculous claims on site about comparing club players with test players and claim the club players are better.

Who caused the upswing in personnel you refer too idiot?   The coach did and he selects player on performance - not the KAK Meyer and Coetzee used.

Just o ne question - why do you insist on being an idiot on site?           

Meyer's Boks were lightyears ahead of both Coetzee and Rassie. Meyer is a vastly superior technician of the game, not a mere tinkerer. Coetzee's Boks were much better using the ball. Their game was more akin to the modern game seen by the rest of the top 10 nations. It was unbalanced, and Coetzee clearly didn't possess the aptitude for a head coaching position, but it's an undeniable fact that Rassie's Boks are an inferior attacking side. 

Selecting personnel is a far cry from being a great all-round coach. Kitch was a good man manager and selector of talent, a poor technical coach. If you place Rassie in that realm, then you cannot successfully argue that he is one of the leading coaches in the game - He hasn't quite evaluated talent as well as you think. 

Sure they were - they lost all matches in the RC in a season and lost against Japan.  In four years they won one home test against the AB's  despite the fact that in that match Matfield donated a try to the AB's and it too their other pet hate Lambie kicking a long distance penalty to win the game. 

Meyer was a disaster as a coach - no discernable game plan and selections that was total BS - players selected on reputation and not merit performance.   The worst Springbok coach in the professional era beating De Villiers and Coetzee by a nose. 

You were caught out because Erasmus proved to be twice the coach Meyer ever was and is consequently on an Idiot Speak campaign.           

So the Boks attack is WAY BEHIND Oz and Nz says the Organhuffer. Hahahaha. 

Boks thrash Oz gaining a Bonus point. 

Look also at scores between Boks and Abs in last 3 tests. 

On Saturday it's one try each. 

Wake up Organhuffer you are stumbling around like a duffer on the Rassie issue. 

Next we have Dr Moz banking his all on the win loss ratio. 

Dr Moz please exclude draws. If you want to be fair exclude last year's Irish loss.

The Boks played the Wallabies away in their third worst venue and nearly won, had Damian not given up those tries. A Wallaby side that was the best attacking side in the world that year! 

The All Blacks were at home, but that is never an easy one. A loss at the death. A stronger All Black side. 

Rassie beats the worst Wallaby side in over 40 years, draws against the weakest All Black side in nearly 20 years and you want me to believe that this is the best coach in SA, better than Meyer and Jake! 

Where do these Boks rank for carries, breaks, beaten defenders, metres, offloads etc? Beneath both Australia and New Zealand? I rest my case. This is the part where you mash your keyboard in frustration.  

Meyer kept the Springboks at no 2?   However by September 2015 they were at no 6 after losing against Japan.   Remember that in the period November 2014 to mid-September 2015 the Springboks LOST 7 games and won 3.   Happy Idiots Day to you AO

Well said, I agree. Might just say again that the rush defense gells with the Bok DNA and the players have taken to it like ducks to water. It's simple and effective and a great starting point.

I think the Bok kicking game is average to poor and that they are poor under the high ball.

There are a few players on my last stop saloon list, one more go before I say Hasta La Vista .....they are Vermeulen and Le Roux....Mapimpi is way out of his depth and should be chopped from the squad. Le Roux's chip kicks and option taking frustrate the hell out of me.

I wonder whether Rassie brought Steyn back to deputise for Pollard as well as keeping Elton as a benchwarmer or to play him against the lesser teams. Imagine a worse case scenario if Pollard copped an injury.......no-one in his right mind would believe Elton Jantjies is capable of fulfilling the role above schoolboy level.
