The one which normally should have gone out at worst on our 10 metre line if a fullback was there to cover......but given half the field was open , kicking it long was definitely on? Willemse was parked right behind the maul 2 metres away....and when the penalty is given shows no urgency to get back. Two phases before that Papier was 'sniping around the fringes'. These kids had no clue what was at stake and how to play the closing minutes.....high jinks and personal glory was all they were thinking.

When I was watching the game around the 60th minute when Kolbe scored. I thought this was the time to bury the All Blacks. Rather than just getting conservative and try holding the lead- keep scoring and put pedal to the metal.
Somehow the wheels fell off with all the substitutions- and the last 5 minutes did not make sense. The continued attack was good, the basic errors were not- especially from Koch who was responsible for 2 penalties that allowed the All Blacks back into the game.
Even if the first 60 minutes the Boks made some basic individual errors, that could have been scorable opportunities.

Balls again - are you nuts or something,  Stooge?   There should be  full description what happened and what you wrote above is total distortion - most likely.

No distortion...just the truth. It was a simple proposition, we had to take 3 minutes off the clock. I have never seen such an open field in which to launch a penalty.....what was Willemse thinking? You might restore some of your tattered credibility Tokkie if you look before opining. The reflex personal attack is not working.

Are you stupid?   Why was Willemse in that position when the penalty was awarded? Who caused the penalty to be awarded.   It was quickly taken apparently.

You have now started three threads with basically the same situation being dealt with.  The other two threads ended badly for you and now this one. is likely to go the same way.    It started badly since you initially misrepresented the replacement issue as well. so that being the reason for running for cover and starting a third thread.

He was there because he was trying to get in on the action, instead of playing his role in a close out situation. Willemse has great attacking attributes.....he ran in one long try in Super rugby showing real gas.....ran right round Kriel in the Bools match and his step on Saturday was pure Cliff Morgan. But he also made two disastrous blunders in the 40 or so minutes he has played for the Boks. He needs to temper his physical assets with a little brains. Hopefully that will come before the WC. Fortunately unlike Gossen he can tackle and he doesn't have stage fright.

It's not working Moz. I think we need to hire Super Nanny to get Lügnerin in order.

That sounds like a logical thing to do.....if you are a little old lady......you will find moz ordering his red snapper at Le Taillevent in Paris.

Mozart

I wrote a whole thread on the issue of Willemse and both Pakie and AO ran away because it exposes him for what they are.   You featured prominently - are you too cowardly to deal with that thread?
