Some Aussie Thoughts

I've been perusing the interwebz, seeing what our Wallaby friends from across the pond think about the game tomorrow. Most are okay with Beale at 10, and are interested to see how Toomua works in tandem with him. Many have expressed a belief that Beale has a good Wallaby record and hope that he can lead them to victory. They point out the advantage of Toomua being a solid kicker from 12, though not as goalkicker. They also believe he adds some muscle on defence. I was surprised to see them single out our wings. They believe they can beat them out wide as Mapimpi and Dyanti can't defend, essentially being stupid. I'm not sure where this perception comes from. I haven't seen many comments on our centres. There is a general interest in seeing Folau at 11 or 13. Some want Hodge at 13 and goal-kicking. I was surprised to see a call for Hooper to be dropped to the bench. There are some who want Pocock "back in his rightful position". There's a general preference for Samu, Pocock and Timu as the loose trio, or Dempsey, McMahon, Pocock. Some see the Hooper selection as a sign of incompetence from Cheika. The only negative I saw was that Beale has a tendency to drift wide, not straightening up the attack. There is an anticipation that Beale may operate wider and Toomua closer in, but with the assumption that both will interchange. 

W'daddy, I um frankly, um fear the worse ...... this trip downunder could be a disaster, a definite umprovement......... Beale's a changed man .... sworn to steer clear from the devil booze .
