Some Data Points of SuperXV 2018

1. The Lions lost their first game against South African opposition in something like 3 years.

2 The Stormers and Bulls have lost every single away match this season. The Bulls after a solid mid-season run, have completely fallen apart and lost to Sunwolves. In fact, both the Stormers and Bulls have been unable to beat even the bottom feeder of SuperRugby. 

3. This season could be the first time a South African team has not won the South African conference. 

4. The South African backs have scored more tries this season- but the rolling maul has been rendered useless. 

5. Some players that have been useless in SuperRugby like Kitshoff played well for the Boks, while others looked even worse. (e.g AM's poor defence was hopelessly exposed).

6. After causing problems at the local pub, the Ackermans have become hell-bent on signing every Golden Lions player for Gloucester. The other UK teams have got into the act by signing other Lions players- such as Rohan leaving during the season.  The UK clubs clearly have no respect for a player in a contract- or at least a South African contract. 

7. Australia has improved slightly with fewer teams, but like South Africa, they do not have a team that can challenge for the title. 

8. The Auckland Blues are the only New Zealand team that is competitive for finishing last- despite years of different coaches.

9. Everyone wants to get rid of the conference system except the people that make the decisions.

10. Players have been tested out of position, and for the most part, have failed. 

11. Every South Africa scrumhalf in SuperXV has been poor- They are Curry Cup standard at best or pub team standard at worst. 

12. Most predictions by the fantasy statisticians have remained a myth with little relationship to reality. 

I agree with all of those points. Super rugby is boring. Super 12 was where it was at! Those were the days. Even though we sucked it was just more palatable.

Sure it is boring when in the USA and watching a few games only,   That applies to both Mozart and Lurker - who identified himself as a previous member using a variety of names in the past.  O nelieve this would be the last year we will have a June test break - that will be moved to July and Super Rugby will be completed in June.   

By the way - Kitshof was not useless in Super Rugby SB - get your facts correct be fore coming up with statements.

I don't watch all the games. I don't have to watch all the games. I watch all the games I want to watch and I don't enjoy Super XV like I enjoyed Super 12. Make a better product and I'll watch more of it. I'm entitled not to like something. Who do you think you are telling people they can't have an opinion? That  they are stupid. I've seen you always telling everyone how stupid they are and how much you know everything more than them. You make lots of threads with insulting titles belittling them. I know your kind. You like to bully others because you are insecure with yourself. Why else would you need to call yourself CLEVERmike. It's not my way to fight with people, but I don't think I'm being excessive here. 

Just get rid of the conference and a straight round robin where you play every other team once just like the Super 12. 

Its bloody simple but SA and Aus management dont want this as it means none or very few home games for them, they have to doctor the results so they can at least be involved in the quartefinals before being chucked out on their useless arses by the vastly superior Kiwi teams. 

Just look at the current standings, Kiwi teams are actually 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th meaning only one home quarter final to SA and none to Aus.

That guy writes the same junk he wrote previously and I did not say you doctor screenshots - I said you use angles that makes your deductions suspect and amounts to real nonsense on your part.   .     

Nope, you have directly accused me of doctoring screenshots. Just the other day in fact when we were discussing the "Morne not kicking the ball out" incident you questioned the authenticity of a screenshot, claiming Morne received the ball a lot earlier than the shot shows. So what is that other than accusing me of manipulating it? Remember the incident of the shot of Morne jumping into the air to catch a pass some time ago, where the entire board agreed he was in the air but you claimed he was on the ground? You also directly accused me of doctoring that shot, which was part of the reason why I left the board for a long time. I got tired of dealing with your constant bullshit and dishonesty.

As for these "angles", the only angles I use are the ones you see on your TV while watching the game since I get the screenshots from broadcast footage. I'm not sure what other angles I can possibly use.

Not accused you of anything bar coming up with photos that did not reflect the actual angle and gave a questionable perspective of what happened and then launch an attack on whatever I said.

The last one was a farce as well.   When I said De Allende was on the five meter line from the side of the field - you swear he was deaper in-field and tried to present a photo  from a different angle to prove it.   Fact is de Allende was ultimately tackled exactly in the position where I said he was.   This is not the first case it happened.        .

Here is the moment De Allende gets tackled. We can clearly see the 5m line, and we can clearly see where his anchoring foot is. Drawing a line through his foot position, we can clearly see he is nowhere near the 5m line. We can also see the player on his outside exactly on the 5m line, which makes it impossible for DA to be on the 5m line as well.

After DA takes the heavy tackle, he takes a while to get up. On this wide shot as England gathers the kick and starts to counter, we can see him still kneeling where the tackle was completed: between the 5m and 15m lines, as I said from the start.

Mozart:

You said he made his tackle 3 metres out.....that was the dirty, stinking lie that you never had the basic honesty to withdraw. Low class stuff.

Mike is referring to the incident above here specifically, but the 3m tackle still remains as one of his all time classics, of course.

I agree that "ganging" up on Oom Mike is not cool but how can you defend his actions.

Will you look the other way while he accuses posters of lies and doctoring evidence? 

Only a few have called him out for it and those that haven't...... well it says more about their character than his.
