The Stormers got back into winning form against the injury ravaged Reds, but the Bulls are making a big play for the top of the South African conference – and if they get more benevolent calls like the ones they did on Sunday morning against the Brumbies they’ll be right in the thick of it come playoff time.

I thought the Brumbies played some brilliant rugby, only to be sawn off when Marius Jonker waved off a knock-on by Morne Steyn from which the Bulls scored a crucial try.

It was also noteworthy that while the penalty count favoured the Bulls by nine (and a free kick) to six , all but two of the Bulls penalties came within kicking range, while the Brumbies only got two penalty shots at goal.

I think Lyndon Bray’s teleconference with the referees this week might be quite a long one.

As I suspected.  A close examinatin of the calls is needed. An explanation re the knock on is also needed.

Objectivity Dave- objectivity is key.

This is all you need to take note of: "At no stage did the Bulls ever look like losing a match in which the Brumbies scored 21 points in the last 10 minutes, 14 of which came in the last three minutes. So don’t get too carried away with the analysis"

Dave they may have led buby 20 but you have to take off 5 for the non try.  bonkers saved their bacon.

Please note the bulle are not happy with what happened for good reason.  Who do bulle play down under?

Beeno catch a wake up. You can take CJ's try away but then equally we can add Steenkamps.

The Bulls were by no means good, thats not my point - my point was that they were dominant against the Brumbies but for those last 10 min when they cocked up - FACT

Given all the factors at play, travel, ref and altitude and given a 5-1 try differential the bulle were no tnealry dominant enough.

Steenkamps try was that lost forward or what? TV ref never awarded it. Fact was Morne's knock was foward and a very bad decision resulted in  a bulle try!!

I complained when the Cheetahs were robbed blind in their match against the brumbies - this was almost as bad. In one sense what goes round comes round but best is to stop all this rubbish.

Hope the match is reviewed. I know I wish our match with crusties had been reviewed re the offsides penalties and other dubious calls.

Dave kicking penalties handed to you by the ref and winning they game as a consequence does not amount to dominance.

Bull eaddress you rshortcomings.

Even ou windpomp is lying low - must be an indication of how bad it was. 5-1 wheeew.

Beeno please stop being so damn ignorant. I never said anything about kicks amounting to domination. The Bulls dominated possession, territory and the breakdown - get it?
