South Africans dominate early US Open leaderboard . . .

What a great leaderboard early in the first round at Merion Country Club!

As I type this, there are four players in a tie for the lead on -2 and three of them are South Africans . . . Charl Schwartzel, Tim Clark and George Coetzee! Jaco van Zyl is one stroke back on -1.

Okay, so the likes of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy haven't even teed off yet but still, about half the field has teed off and there are only 10 players in the whole field under par so it's tough going out there. A fantastic start for our boys!

Its been very hard to recover from Botha being decked by that kiwi.I mean Bortha losing and him being in his prime etc. Who knows the kiwis may even get their second world champion - its been 123 since the last.

And then there was one! Will Schwartzel save Rooiaas' blushes? Maybe those last two bogies will take a bit of pressure off, I see Charl more as a come from behind winner. But it's tense times for the Board louse.

Why oh why do I sense a nobble?

 Dear oh dear the Zinidine Zidone and Dusted redux. There was Charl happily birdying at the start, taking the lead, looking good. Not realizing the RooiAAS curse was upon him. This time the curse was very potent, it nobbled all the South African players....Schwartzel, Coetzee, Grace, Ernie..they appeared only to tumble inexplicably from grace, hahaha, as it were.

Schwartzel fell like Lucifer fell.....the poor fella shot 78, almost inconceivable. But the curse is potent it took Zidane  right out of the soccer world cup...made him a tragic figure. ......scant hours after the AAS claimed he was the best soccer player in history. Big Ernie thought  he could perhaps back into a win, only to see the curse nobble him on 18.

Poor old RooiAAS, nobody gets it more wrong more often. But to blurt out your ignorant optimism after nine holes is really special. And to mention Rory as a possible winner when the kid is totally lost shows abysmal ignorance. Hell the two other candidates the Board Buffoon mentions, Rory and Tiger, become figures of fun out there. Tiger hits out of bounds on the second and Rory deliberately fatally bends one of the Nike irons they have paid him $100 million to play, in frustration, as he makes an amazing string of mistakes. - - - You could not imagine a worse fate for all Rooinek's special mentions. The curse lives....nobody gets it more wrong more often.

In one foul nobble he wiped all of the SAFFA contingent......no-ne else could achieve that even if they tried.

Never mind the hilarious notion that adult men could honestly believe that a comment on a rugby message board has any kind of influence on what happens in real life in the US Open, the funniest part of this thread is the mental picture of Moffie and his Servile Gimps spending the entire golf tournament willing South African golfers to miss putts so they could have their pathetic little sniggers at my expense. LMAO!

And really, how much golf do these clowns actually watch if they think that 3 South Africans in the top 4 at any stage of a golf major is a normal everyday occurrence and not worth commenting on?

I'd actually be quite impressed if I had the ability to "nobble" people just by posting comments, but I'm pretty sure I would never match the "nobble" of the childish and deceitful buffoon who nominated Patrick Lambie as his player of 2013 before a ball was kicked in the S15. Wehe! Lambie showed great promise in 2012 but he's been hopelessly off form ever since the board idiot put him up on such a pedestal. Now that's what I call a "nobble"!

Oh and very well done to Johannesburg-born Justin Rose who ensured that the insufferablly smug Mickelson became the US Open bridesmaid yet again! Fantastic win that had me cheering every shot he played last night . . . while Moffie and his Gimps were scrolling the leaderboard looking for South African threats!!!

Oh right, Mr Know-it-all had Justin Rose as his winner all along . . . he just thought he'd mention this after the tournament rather than before . . . a bit like all his rugby "postdictions".
