Once it was a big joke for the Springboks to talk in Africaans among NZ folk. This was carried on in South Africa after the game and during the speeches. Everyone except the All Blacks got the joke. But Tom Pearce the All Black manager was equal to the task in his speech of reply. Not being a Maori speaker, Tom simply gave a list of Maori placenames all strung together like a speech. They reckon you could hear the All Black guffaws in the next Province.

It is still a big joke FS, and we still do it whenever abroad, and the sportsmen also still does it, and the other guys can still not understand it. The difference is that if some of the guys in your mighty AB team started communicating in there native language, at least half of your team would not understand what the fuck is going on.
