Agreed mozart that was a deliberate elbow to the head and he should have received a Red card for that.
Unfortunately, most officials handling big games are all over the place when it comes to applying the laws consistently.
Pity.
Did soccer not introduce a law with respect to diving or do u know if it was only the UK Premier league that did?

A deliberate dive or simulation is punishable with a yellow card, but often ignored.

A deliberate dive should carry a yellow card and have a mandatory 1 game suspension. Even if the player gets away with it in the game, on review, he should still be suspended. Opposing teams, like in rugby for foul play, can ask for a dive to be reviewed. It would immediately put a stop to the bullshart and I could start watching soccer again.
