Last Saturday after Retallick came on fromn the bench - on two occassions he stood not in the line-outs - but in no-mans land somewhere between the touchline and the line-out where scrummies in extremely rare cases would stand.    I know Retallick is the tallest All Black player in the AB forward pack - but he is not really a house on fire in line out play.

My question is - did it appear to be a ploy that never really worked  or what is the reason behind it.    Despite my earlier comments - he seemed to be wasted in the position he actually took up in those to line-outs, because as far as I can remember on both occassions - the throw ins was done by the AB's.
