Springbok squad for EOYT

The following is the squad for the EOYT:-

It is clear that Coetzee has decided there is no future in keep Morne Steyn in the squad - he is way too predictable and pedestrian to be of any value in the squad.   However, he got famous for keeping Willem Alberts in the squad - the same useless Fatso who played for 45 minutes in a recent test and had the distinction of not making a single tackle in that game.
With both Redelinghuys and Malherbe not available due to injury Jannie du Plessis was called up - but he is so useless and over-the-hill that one wonders whether that is a wise move.   I would rather have gone for a Cheetah prop than that one.      
The normal passenges are in - but there is a few inspired selections as well.   Those include Sergeal Petersen,   Jean-Luc du Preez, Roelof Smit and Francois Venter.
