Not sure when it is being announced. I would give most of the bench players and squad players a run in preparation for the 4 Nations. The team I would select for Saterday would be:
15: Willie Leroux- has the distribution skills and running lines to create space and tries
14: JJ Engelbreght - Should get another run, but their has to be a place for Serfontein to start. Devilliers is going to be on the starting team.
13: Devilliers- If we get a good lead quickly I would substitute him and put JJ back at 13
12: Serfontein- He has to start. That try he scored against Scotland was amazing. In some respects the defence may have been poor as players just seemed to slip of him, but maybe he is that quick
10: Lambie- played crap for most of the season at the Sharks but maybe he can come right for the boks. Also Morne is going overseas.
11 Habana-
9: Van Zyl- Pienaar was terribale, but the ball he was given was just as bad. Van Zyl looks quicker.
8: Laberschagne- Good allrounder. Plays onto the ball, and also a strong carrier. Strong defence and link player
7: Alberts- The man mountain when in form creates allot of space as it takes half a team to pull him down. Strong carrier only. I would play him for 60 minutes and substitute him for a more mobile flank
6: Louw- Also a good allrounder
5: Bruno
4: Flip Van Dermerve
3: Anyone except Jannie
2: Adrian Strauss
1: Coenie- Good at getting turnovers and competing at the ruck
Bench
Bismaark- if Strauss is having a good game, maybe bring Bismaark on as a loose forward. With the top 2 hookers in the team, this could be a way to get them both on the pitch. This would also improve rucking
