As I stated before the ist test team was an experimental team - the second one  - bar the absence of Snyman, Vermeulen and Du Toit is probably the be st team we can field - but there were some deficiencies in the team that played in the 1st test which is not in the second test.

I still think the weak spots in the team for the second test is  Ori at lock and  Mostert as a loosie.- his open-field defense is way too poor .   I was hoping that Snyman will be back as a back-up for Etzebeth - but he is still out..

The fact is that the  6-2 bench  is back - with Willemse the all round player.  Frans Steyn was so poor in the 1st test he was left out of the bench selection.

That is looking more like a starting XV against Australia, bar injuries and players resting after the B&I Lions series.

Sorry I left out Etzebeth  as one of he missing players.   I was mainly thinking of the three injured players who are not available yet.   Etzebeth is just been rested.

By the way all of the remaining tests in the RC after the second Argentina test on Satiuday will be played in Australia.   New Zealand is off limits because of Covid.

Yes, New Zealand has gone into lockdown, after the 1st reported case of Covid for months, was recorded a few days ago. It could be New Zealand's first Delta invader.

Fuck I can’t believe the utterly useless Orie is starting and what makes it worse is that he is starting at 4 I feel for poor Thomas du Toit at tighthead having that sad excuse for a lock behind him in the scrums

To think we have better locks our there that would do a far better job at 4.

Expecting a lot of penalties from Marvellous

If Pollard is injured, it will mean Willemse will play at 10. His worst games have been at 10.

Thomas DuToit starting at tighthead prop could be a disaster. Like Nykani, he is better at loosehead, although Nykani is probably better on both sides.
Maybe he will switch during the game, but not very likely as Rassie will want his starting team players for Australia to get some game time.

Wilco Louw should have been given another shot, given he played well last week.
Having Wilco Louw on the bench to replace Malherbe against Australia/All Blacks would be ideal.

Shark if you had actually watched any Sharks rugby this season you would realise that Thomas has been huge at tighthead It’s taken a season or two to make the change and oh boy has he
