The Springboks have won the WC in all four WC Finals they played in.    Instead of sometimes idioiic performances by some members - the questionb is how would the performances of the team be evaluated from 1 9 being the ebst to 4 being the worse:-

2019           -        1

1995           -        2

2007                    3

2023           -        4

In  RWC '23 we beat Tonga  Scotland  France  England  NZ

Nee ouMaaik,,  imo. '23 has been our toughest, a whisker ahead of  '95

Agreed Blob, this was massive. We could have played a better final, but the tournament was absolutely magnificent...this is a fantastic team.

I can't say the same. If this was the game I'd envisioned, and they had won, I would say okay, to an extent. They did nothing much well or right in the knockout rounds and the final is highly dubious. I call match fixing. This is more blatant than the 2011 final where France were rightful champions. This WC has been marred. 2023*.

BB

Must ag ree with you

I agree with you about the strength of the opposition.   this year was the toughest opposiion we met ibn WC's

So I should perhaps change my view on the rating of performances above.

However, I am glad the French got buggered up in this case - they stole the WC from SA after the Technical Committee recommended that the WC  should go to SA in 2023.   They fgot the Irsih and UK teams reps to support them and I hope they live up to the promises they mnade to them.

Definitely not the strongest AB team at a World Cup.

The ABs were worthy winners. Minus the match fixing, we definitely don't win that game. The Boks were ripped up. It's quite the oddity; the Boks didn't put down one good performance throughout the campaign. Very bizarre. They remind me more of Portugal in EURO 2016, but that side did improve in the final once Ronaldo went off injured. This side was just dominated throughout till the very end.
