Glad to see De Allende named on the bench.

Best possible team that could be named imo. Would of liked too see Matfeild on the bench at least, and De Jager starting. Good too see Reinach their, deserves it SA best 9 currently. Lambie is the best ten for SA currently. But Pollard well be good off he bench.

Strong bench, weak defensive back three.

Luke, I'm n ot sure if Oupa Mohoje is our best bet at blindside flank, Duane Vermeulen probably needs a rest and like you I would have preferred Lood de Jager starting ahead of Matfield but otherwise it's not a bad selection.

Exactly right Biltongbek a fragile back three!!!. In additon no Pollard who is like an extra loose foward. But could show somehting on attack but defence could be a problem. Needed to start with Allende on the wing and Pollard at flyhalf.
Also we have pap matfiled and oupa also weakening the pack .
This is sub standard. Wales have a great chance. Picking Boks to win but nothing sure about it.

If I was Wales I'd do a fair bit of kicking on Mvovo and Hendricks. Could be a lot of heat coming our way from the wings.

Congratulations Rooi - your first valid point of the month.

That team looks very vulnerable. The same halfbacks that completely buckled under the physicality of England face an even more imposing task. Then there's De Allende, the spectacular failure of the Argie tests. At least we have our best back-three together, but the halfbacks are poor. They were absolutely dominated and could not control or direct play at even a basic level.

To my mind the team has some defects - and the main ones are -
* the defense of the outside backs and the vulnerbility of the wings under the high ball and there wouldbe plenty of those;;* the lack of attacking ability in the center comination - especacially in creating space for other players;* the problem at lock - where Matfield's performances have been deteriorating at a faster speed than jetliners manage; and* question marks as to the performances of Mohoje he has been very quiet and plays no role in breakdown ball protection and recovery - almost as bad as Alberts is in that regard.
I think Meyer is likely to make early changes in the case of the outside backs - especialy if Hendricks' defense fails again. He is unlikely to get anything much in the line of backline ball in any event and in his last two tests he was a dead loss. I am not as uneasy about Mvovo though - he is quite above Hendricks in defense and under high balls.
Bearing in mind the above reservations - Ihave doubts about the ability of the team to beat Wals - but lets wait and see.

"Lambie has failed to land one dominant tackle on tour, couldn't really say he had one successful tackle against England."
Pffffffffffffffhahahahahaha!
Dim Gimp's credibility when it comes to Patrick Lambie is one of the funniest things on this board!
Man, I wish I knew what sparked this sheer hatred! I'm guessing Dim Gimp's . . . errmmmm . . . let's just say "life partner". . . once mentioned that he/she found Lambie attractive and Dim Gimp went a bit mental.

Dim Sun and Bonzo will be admitted to cardiac surgery soon indeed. Lambie is the first choice no 10...this is where he'll start growing from strength to strength...he reacts well when confidence is shown in him and will prove himself...at least this is what I believe...he is by nature a man that rises to challenges...I think he was rather unsettled before and his franchise coach, Plum and national, Meyer...not sure about Jake because he was injured 3/4's of super series. MS stood in the way...and he had pressure to play his unnatural game...these type of players must be given full initiative to play their natural game...they are creators not followers or imitators of others...anyway criticise if you like...I believe we'll see a lot of egg on faces.
The sides, ok...perhaps De Allende needs another chance...we don't have too many choices and I would prefer Strauss to start and Bismarck as a backup...just put it the other way round...it's just a pity too that PSTD is still not right...Victor has still something to offer but I would be much happier when Pieter -Steph comes back next year.

SubstantialBull, your pal Moffie won't be very far behind Dim Gimp in the cardiac ward.
Moffie's hatred of Lambie isn't far off that of Dim Sum/Gonzo the Gimp (who is the same person by the way, as well as LeTwat, Alucard, Apollo and probably another 20 names I'm forgetting or that I'm unaware of).

I always say be patient with idiots - b ut Letsallbemorons is tretching my patience to the limit.
"Lambie has failed to land one dominant tackle on tour, couldn't really say he had one successful tackle against England"
What does this guy says is a "dominant tackle" and how many flyhalfs really ever make dominant tackles? Very few - if my memory is correct. This from a guy who supports Morne Steyn - who in his last game missed 7 out of 15 attemppted tackles. Morne missed tackles - made no dominant tackles - and the mron supports Steyn ahead of Lambie.
The dominant tackle statement is interesting in another context. Matfield - moonlighting in the backline makes weak tackles - but then the dminant tackle statem ent is not applied and anybody who says Matfield's tackles are weak - is attacked with all the strength the moron can muster.
Yes - you are probably right about jealousy being a factor in Letsallbemorons campaign against Lambie. Most wonen admires him for his looks and I would not be surprised if that does not cause mayhem in the Letsallbemorons household.

Well, maybe with all these undercover moles with different names needs Dr Win's attention...Dim Sun and Bonzo the same...well that's interesting...I've also been told Bedpan and Taipan are the same too...gets quite funny...there's definitely a lot of oddities that come on here
Mozzie too could well join them...difference of opinions does not alienate me from fellow posters...afterall we all on entitled to our individual opinions...although I fail to see why there's anti PL posters...well that won't be for long...time will vindicate this I believe.

No Schalk Burger even on the bench? We must persist with the useless Mohoje who brings nothing to the breakdown.
