SP Marais is a nice provincial fullback, totally ineffective and costly ball in hand.....vedict no . Kolbe makes too many mistakes under tight marking, his kick chase presents the opposition a poor tackler to run at .....verdict no . Viljoen looks ponderous and slow.....a kind of Odendaal with better hands....verdict no . Dan Du Plessis....worked hard to no effect, confused in the Lions first try.....verdict not yet . Vorster.....showed some fine running lines at 12, probably his better position......verdict maybe, but badly gassed in earlier games . Jantjies....captain confusion.....verdict no . Robert du Preez......excellent game in losing cause, surprising pace in the Leyds kick chase....verdict ready now . Maherbe.....a liability....vedict no . Dreyer....good in general play, unimpressive scrumming....verdict no . Wilco....immediately improved the STORMERS scrum.....should be developed but looking good. . Etzebeth....very average game.....still our best 4 but not today. . Mostert ....superb game handily outplaying Stephanie....still too small for tests. . Stephanie.....lots of mistakes now hurt again....still waiting for the big game against a tough opponent. . Kleintjie Kriel.....ineffective on the deck with no turnovers, but nice touch in the last try.....Bok bench is his highest calling . Ackerman.....huge work rate, lots of good things, actually made 3 turnovers.....I prefer him to the du Preez twins at blindside. . Notche, Carr, Kolisi.....invisible, overmatched, ineffective.....let's forget about this fantasy.

Considering that these are by some distance SA's two best teams and the verdict is that most of the players arent Bok quality, we are left with only one option. Pick players on reputation despite poor SR showings.
Rob Du Preez does look much better than Jantjies who seems out of sorts and lacking confidence.

Mozart is wrong again and the reason is prejudice - bad one at that.
Let take the list of his version and he BS he comes up with:-
*   SP Marais is the best performing full back this year and the fact that he was not having much opportunities today is not a reason to spout BS about him.
*   Viljoen was tie he center Mapoe was today - the BS is streaming out again.  He obviously does not know what impact Viijoen had on the scoring of the Stormers try, drawing in three defenders making space for Du Preez and making a split second pass.  No real evidence he is slow,  The man is befuddled again.   Obviously he did not mention Mapoe at all - so what else is new?
*   When Vorster scored his try Du Plessis was not in the defensive line - Etzebeth and forwards were covering - so find some more BS to spout.
*   Vorster is a top class center and the question in fact is whether he is better than Van Rensburg.   What earlier games are you talking about BSter?
*   Agree about Jantjies and du Preez
*   Malherbe was not good enough -yes.
*    Etzebeth was poor today and he was poor in most games this year.   Very disappointing.
*   As per normal the BSter went for Du Toit -- he was today much better and more effective than Etzebeth this whole year in Super Rugby .

Why should I mention Mapoe.....you used to support him, I never did...this is about the Boks. Viljoen was toothless. . Du Plessis was in the line, marking one player inside, but the cut that Vorster ran was right into his space. When a lock is guarding 10 metres of space the centre has to have his back on the inside. . Du Toit was marked by Mostert who totally outplayed him. In fact the first big momentum turnaround came at the lineout where the Stormers hassled Cronje into touch. At that stage the Stormers were looking sharp. But Mostert got up to strip Stephanie and who did a wild spike into the ground. The Stormers hung on at the breakdown.....penalty to the corner....Lions try....different game.

Some addendums from the Bools' match. . Kriel had his best attacking game since 2015.....largely because he had some space at 15 and that confidence carried him later at 13, his tackling is the issue though....verdict a candidate for Bok 15. . Ulengo....one decent run, found it unnecessary to try even one tackle.....verdict no . Stepfontein....toothless, verdict no . Pollard....kicking well, defending well....need to see more ball in hand....verdict still in the mix . Lomp....seems like he is enjoying his rugby more......verdict, not one of our top 4 locks . Snyman....huge and athletic, needs to be motivated and encouraged.....verdict on the cusp.

Haven't seen the Cheetahs game, one can only watch so many losses. But in the Bok context Venter with 2 tackles made/3 missed and Rhule with 3 tackles made/4 missed...continue their poor defensive stats. But at least Rhule can attack.

Irrespective of what you folks say and think about Earl Jantjies he is a shoe in at 10.
He will automatically be selected to fill the ANC quota plus there are not many non-white players who can claim to be test standard forwards so to meet the requirement the SARU will be forced to load up on backline players of color.
Unfortunately.

Well in his defence he did a very photogenic fist pump at the end of the game.

We all knows by now that your assessment of players are absolute BS in cases of players you do not like.  And his allegations are as twisted - like stating that I have supported Mapoe in the past.
If Du Plessis was within 10 meters of Vorster he would get the blame for the try scored by Vorster - that is normal with the twister of fake messages.   The fact is he is always trying to impose his prejudiced views here.
More BS about Du Toit - nothing about toothless Etzebeth.  So now De Jager - who was the better of the Bulls locks and suddenly back to Snyman who he went n and on last year.   What a farce.
And Pollard's decision-making yesterday was no better than it was the whole series thus far.   That kick after the break of Kriel was both wrong and inaccurate was typical of what was wrong with him.  He showed zero on yesterday - as was the case thus far this year,   Kicking does not win games - Mozart still persist that is all that is require\d from a flyhalf -- so what else is new?
Anyone believing this rugby illiterate must open his eyes to reality - fake arguments should be disregarded with the disrespect they deserve.

Hmm Vorster played 12....du Plessis played 12. Vorster cut into the gap between Etzebeth and du Plessis running inwards towards du Plessis and it's not his fault? Just like falling on his behind in the Chiefs first try wasn't his fault. Is he one of you fantasy seuntjies?

Listen BSter - do your normal and quote full stats - not the type you select to support you viewpoints - give us the whole lot.
So Etzebeth and another forward was there and Du Plessis was further inward.   In this case Etzebeth was the one to try and make a tackle - he did squad.   Very appropriate - he did squad the whole day plus handling errors and giving away crucial penalties.

So you dont like Etzebeth....noted. It was a 50/50 the centre should have protected his forward by having his back. But you didn't reply to my question is he one of your fantasies.....is Quinty no longer enough?

I like Etzebeth - but that is if he performs.  He had one good game out of 6 this year and that is not good enough.
What a farce you are when you start trying to get below the belt in your comments.   One has to accept it from the No1 Mong on this site.

You argue facts - is rather like you arguing twisted disinformation.    Your alleged "facts" or products of prejudiced imagination or often enough lies .
