Saturday is important for Super Rugby, but the pecking order for some Bok slots could be decided.
.
1 In the centres the hyped pairing of Viljoen and du Plessis face the wrecking ball Rohan and Vorster. I have my doubts about the Stormers pair, both culpable in the Chiefs breakout tries of the first half. But then I have my doubts about Vorster as well.
.
2 The flyhalf clash between solid as a rock du Preez vs Jantjies should also be an interesting series of contrasts. Jantjies has the experience, but does he have the cojones especially at Newlands.
.
3 Both teams have good scrums, with Wilco looking like a possible Bok tighthead in the future....but Dreyer is also in the running with some strong scrumming performances. And what of the submarine Malherbe, has his form finaly torpedoed his reputation?
.
4 At lock we will no doubt see the return of Stephanie to partner Etzebeth...can he outplay Mostert who also has his hand up for Bok 5. Will he avoid a Youngs?
.
5 And then there is Kolisi in rampant form against Kleintjie Kriel.....a sort of clash of non fetchers.
.
There are other interesting things on trial.....offloading vs the Stormers rush defence......conventional vs interventionist scrumhalves etc. In all the most important Super game, er, since the Stormers played the Chiefs.

The above is chronic disinformation again. For a start Kolisi play as blindside flank and Kriel as opensider - so how can you compare them. Stupid as per normal.
Then we hav the classic about Du Plessis - he has not missed a single tackle thus far in Super 15 - but Mozart said he was involved when the Chiefs scored two tries from Sh!it kicks and the defense was totally disorganized. That is typically Mozart. However, Viljoen was the best off-loader in SA Rugby teams this year in Super Rugby and cored more tries in games this year and had more try assists than your favourite De Jongh did since 2012. In your book try-scoring means nothing - the only thing that counts is defense and kicking by the half backs or full backs.
So the Du Plessis and Viljoen is hyped because virtually everybody think they are doing very well and the exception is the fool w ho started this thread.
Kak story about Du Toit again when the stoog Coetzee 9 whom you favoured before appointment - selected Du Toit at 7 - but then that is expected from you - the dimmest one around.

Let me correct you:
1 Kolisi plays the role of a 6, unless of course you think Elstadt or Wiese are fetchers...hahaha.
.
2 Du plessis was slow on the kick chase, which meant he and Kolbe never presented a line of defence. Then when McKenzie stepped he slipped and fell on his butt.
.
3 In the other kick chase try, Viljoen again was slow up and got horribly gassed on the outside by McKenzie
.
4 Du Toit was awful on the YE tour but he looks good against weaker SA teams. Can he perform against a worthy opponent, not so far.

Ag kak - caught out again and now he comes up with his standard BS about Kolisi and Kriel. So he has to make things up as he goes along.
Those kicks you try to glorify was absolute BS and that was proven over and over again - but you are again caught in the web of your own misrepresentations. Kicks of that nature destroy defensive lines and cannot ever be effectively followed up.
Then he persist with his BS about Du Toit not realizing he is not a 7. The BSter can find nothing negative about Du Toit as lock - but faults he made when played out of position. This is typical - he is totally clueless about any positional play and even more so about the game plans and performances.
What a pity - but he will never learn. He compares a blindside loosie with an opensider and he cannot understand a lock is not a number 7. That type of BS cooked up by Meyer and Coetzee is beyond his level of understanding and if it fails he blames the player - not the stooge coaches. What a fool.

So 'De Kock' was not a 7....waaaaaahaha.. I assume you mean Quinnie? And de Kock er du Toit got bamboozled twice by Youngs because he had a 7 not a 5 on his back. Hilarious.
.
But back to your first point....you think Wiese is the fetcher in the Stormers setup? Yes or no will do.

Back to Kriel vs Kolisi. Here's what you never understood, both Kolisi and Kriel play the open side fetcher role in their starting teams. When Carr comes on Kolisi appears to shift to blindside.....which should give us about 65 minutes to evaluate Kriel directly against Kolisi.
.
Schplott once again old chap. How many arguments can one fellow lose in a day before he gives up.

Wehe . . . Moffie lecturing about blindside vs openside . . . the same dullard who had this to say a few weeks ago . . .
"Actually I put Itoje at 6.....which is blindside in the NH noob."
Waaaaaaaaaahahahahaha!
So according to Moffie, the blindsider wears #6 in the NH . . . the implication being that the blindsider wears #7 in the SH . . . so one wonders whether Moffie thinks Richie McCaw wears the #6 jersey or thinks Richie McCaw is a blindside flanker? It's one of the two! What an ignorant fool!
Moffie also has the famous French duo in the wrong jerseys . . . according to Moffie Serge Betsen was the blindsider and Olivier Magne was the opensider!
And this same doddering old fool is trying to give ou Maaik a lecture about the numbering of flankers!
LMAO!

This year in all matches he played Kolisi was playing as a 7 - that s as blindside flank and he always started as such. He never shifted to 6 when Carr came on. Are you not ashamed of your ignorance - why display it so blatantly on this site?

Balls - he was always selected at 7 and Elstadt at 6. Why would they make that selection and play them on the field of play the other way around? To mix up Mozart?
Wiese started the first time on Saturday against the Chiefs - so your wording is a bit weird.

Just checked the Bools game and the Chiefs game. Oddly in the Bools game Elstadt did play open side. But in the Chiefs game Wiese wore 6 and played blindside. So if Wiese plays again on Saturday Kolisi will play open side, opposing Kleintjie Kriel....just as I said.

So now the jersey numbers does not count at all? Why not confuse the matter further - Lets play 1 at 15, 2 on the wing, etc?
Sorry - you are wring - but too childish to admit it.

Minute 26....SP Marais knocks on trying to offload, the scrum is on the Stormers right between the two dotted lines. Clearly visible in the close camera shot is Wiese packing blindside. Check it out, and all the other scrums when Wiese is on the field packing blindside........or don't and remain Lyingstein.

"Kolisi plays the role of a 6, unless of course you think Elstadt or Wiese are fetchers...hahaha."
"Kolisi has played open side in every game where Elstadt or Wiese started."
Followed by this . . .
". . . but Elstadt did pack open side vs the Bools, which frankly surprised me."
Ummmm . . . yes Moffie, it must have been quite a big surprise considering the sneering and contemptuous tone of your comments above!
And yet despite all this ignorance, humilation and egg - coupled with your hilarious "noob" comments about NH/SH numbering - you still can't admit that you made a blunder . . . and you're still trying to call someone else a liar?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha!

Rooitwit do get a grip old oak! ou maaaikie you are sounding so bitter these days. lighten up. Your desire to score a point against Moz is getting very shrill and sets a nasty tone. Some humour lad! Sorry - but you are talking crap in this case. Kolisi was selected at 7 - which is the blindside position in SA Rugby. Why the hell should he not be selected and used at 6 - why select him at 7 and then use him at 6 (the general openside position in SA).
I have never seen him being used at opensider in any match and the fact is that Mozart is just arguing because he showed amazing junk thinking in this regard and was caught out.
