Sadly more problems for Dr Mozzzz and the Organhuffer! They both rate Jake, so one hopes they will recognise the wisdom of Jake(and of course Beeno) re what is said here.

Cape Town - South Africa are Rugby World Cup contenders and their opening match against the All Blacks won’t matter when the tournament reaches its conclusion.

That’s the view of 2007 World Cup-winning Springboks coach Jake White.

“The Boks got a draw in Wellington, which is great, but Rassie’s planning wasn’t about the Rugby Championship, but the psychological gains they could achieve with a view to the World Cup,” White told Times LIVE.

“Rassie wanted to see if his 'A' team was good enough to match New Zealand in Wellington and the answer is quite obvious now. He has those gains.

“But even if the Boks had lost he would have had the answers and would have clarified his thinking. Either way he wanted answers and he has got them with a bonus of a positive outcome.”

White said Erasmus’ tactics in sending his best team to New Zealand early was ‘spot on’ and believed it had put the All Blacks on the psychological back foot. (PLEASE NOTE DR MOZZZZ AND THE ORGANHUFFER!!)

While a lot of emphasis was placed on winning the Yokohama pool game between the two on September 21, to decide the pool, it was still likely both teams would qualify for the quarter-finals, ahead of Italy, Canada and Namibia.

However, with their win over the Wallabies and their draw with the All Blacks the Springboks had alerted the world they were dark horses.

“Rassie is a very good coach (PLEASE NOTE DR MOZZZZ AND THE ORGANHUFFER!!). They aren’t going to lose to Italy even if they don’t beat the All Blacks,” said White.

“South Africa will be World Cup contenders. For one thing they have a great draw.

“It doesn’t matter if they win or lose the New Zealand game because they will have three weeks to prepare for the quarter-final. I honestly don’t think winning that opening game is vital.

“If you win, you’re likely to play Scotland, and if you lose you play Ireland in the last eight. It’s not really a high road/low road scenario because there are no easy quarterfinal games these days.”

The Springboks have been based in Auckland since the day after the Wellington Test where they are preparing for their final game of the Championship against Argentina.

They fly out to Buenos Aires in two groups at the weekend before travelling to Salta where their Test will be played.

SO JAKE SAYS RASSIE IS A VERY GOOD COACH. AS BEENO HAS TOLD THESE TWO NUMEROUS TIMES. NO MORE RASSIE BASHING PLEASE!

I see Moz and Organhuffer ignoring this like the plague.

Note what Jake says about Rassie as a coach.

Jake and Beeno on the same page.

This is mostly what I have said. The Boks have a chance to progress deep into the competition, that was never disputed. I don't agree this was his best team though. The psychological advantage gained, the pressure exerted in New Zealand, I said this very thing. It's going to be an interesting WC, with the NH sides entering the competition in best form, the SH a waning power. However, once the competition starts, things can change dramatically. Often the favourites under-perform and/or go home early. If the Boks can get serious defenders in their team, shore up their set pieces, win the aerial battle and take their chances, they'll be very hard to beat. Right now, against a quality side, they are just a shade beneath them. There are lots of pieces to the puzzle not in place, and J-Raz's stubbornness isn't helping advance the cause.

I listened to The Breakdown - the NZ rugby discussion program - and rather believe the panel comments  on the game - the impact of Erasmus - the individual players.

They think Erasmus has done a brilliant job  as a coach - the Idiot Speakers keep attacking him as being inadequate and AO keep referring to what they see as negatives.   The biggest improvement was on defense now a wish that the have stronger defenders.  because of "deficient upper body strength" by the great Idiot Speaker,

What the panel members said is vastly different from what the Idiot Speaker say,   Refreshing to hear the truth than the constant idiocy on this site,

The Boks went from 83% to 85% on defence. They made 77% of their tackles against a pitiful Australian side and 82% against New Zealand, so we are below the Coetzee average against SANZAR opposition. Coetzee's Boks were reckless on attack and got sucker-punched, that was their downfall.

I challenge you to show me one dominant tackle in Damian's entire test career. I provided his entire 2008 season, so that's a good and relevant place to begin.

Also, how about the poor kicking game? Not only aimless, but we were actually out-duelled by Australia. They won the battle of the boot, and there hasn't been one team we've beaten in the air. A bit of a problem considering that the boot kick-starts our entire game. A tactical blunder to base such emphasis on one of the weakest aspects of the team.

Really Lügnerin, you need to try harder.

Jake also said Alistair Coetzee is a good coach......matter of fact he told me that himself. Didn't believe him then and I don't believe it now.

Eraser has given us Kolisi as captain and a 50% win ratio. Our record against Oz is the same as it has been....except we haven't played them at home this year. The most focused efforts have been against the weakened All Blacks and have paid some dividends. So of course from the perspective of the ABs Eraser has to be a genius.....it's better than admitting that your team looks very vulnerable. Hell I predicted a Bok win, because this isn't the AB team of 2015. We are zero and 2 against Wales......2 and 2 against England, in spite three to 1 played at home.....1 and 1 against the Bargies. So far there is no plan of attack, no centre play....and our mauls, kick chase and set pieces are worse. So far Eraser has given us Nienaber.

So far the results speak for themselves -

*   an away win and draw against NZ; and

*   2 convincing wins against England  then beating a experimental side in the third tour match - and a really dubious win against SA without its NGH players.

Send your comments about Erasmus to the NZ Breakdown TV program - the panelists will really destroy it and laughed about rank idiocy.

A Foeitog - hard to accept reality - not so Mozart.   I would rather have a 50/50 situation than the 30/60 situation of Meyer in the 10 months leading up to the WC in 2015 . LMAO.

Keep up the prayers for an Argentine loss to prevent the Springboks from winning the RC.  I feel for you and co - the ridiculing would be cruel and unforgiving,

Well, thus far Rassie is going into the WC with losses to the tournaments biggest threats, the NH big three. He beat Australia, but they are also rans, New Zealand is a 50/50. I fail to see where we possess a big advantage.

Hey Organhuffer what was the defence % when we were losing by 50 points and more against the wee ab before Rassie arrived?.

Look surely its time to agree with Jake and Beeno (People who understand the game), and now of course Mike as well, that Rassie is a "very good coach" (per Jake)

Organhuffer couldn't take looking at my post re "Boks benefiting from a clear plan"! Here they discuss what a fine job Rassie is doing and how great a player Steph is and what a big engine he has. Bwahahahhahahahahaha

Coetzee Tackle Percentage vs NZ:

  1. NZL (41) vs RSA (13) - 65/87 (75%)
  2. RSA (15) vs NZL (57) - 135/175 (77%)
  3. NZL (57) vs RSA (00) - 77/109 (71%)
Rassie Tackle Percentage vs NZ:
  1. NZL (34) vs RSA (36) - 196/235 (83%)
  2. RSA (30) vs NZL (32) - 77/93 (83%)
  3. NZL (16) vs RSA (16) - 125/153 (82%)

As I said before, Rassie is an average coach. A very conservative coach. Perhaps a Straeuli with better personnel. I have seen nothing special in anything he has done. Nobody has been able to show me anything tangible. Rassie is the coaching equivalent of the Lambies, Damians and Stephs of the world: Too much hype. He is everything Meyer was criticised for being. That's what I am highlighting. His attack numbers are not good, relative to his opposition, Rassie has regressed the Boks. We are the kicking, defensive team that the plastics said the didn't want. It couldn't be more tragic. The plastics lambasted those who defended Meyer for having no vision or ambition, yet they settle for far, far less. I find that quite funny. I especially enjoy watching Lügnerin tie himself in knots trying to limit the damage to his credibility.

I have heard this repeated constantly.  There is an old saying - "Talk is cheap, Money buys the Whiskey".   Your talk is exceptionally cheap and inconsequential so repaeat of the same junk will not help.

If Erasmus is a conservative coach - Meyer was just an atrocious coach.
