5 Springboks have been released 2 play in the Curry Cup this wkend; they are Burden (yay!), Malherbe, JacPot, vermaak and Mvovo (yay!!!).
Just a pity that Morne Steyn and Zane Kirchners names arent there as well!!!!!!!
Valid points. On the bright side at least Donkey Potgieter was released. What about Greyling, or has he been left in New Zealand....
Not wotth releasing Greyling - he would make no difference to the weak Bulls forwards - may even make it orse. In any event he is under a ban - and since he will never again play test rugby - I believe the ban is for all competitive games in any event
Potgieter may mean a small improvement and so would Vermaak and Burden, but as for Mvovom selection to the Sharks team could be a liability when balls are kicked high to and especialy over him. Deep kink-ins are his forte though and that is certainly going to be used in his case..
