Springboks set to win the Rugby Championship?

The beginning of the series they were given no chance by the Mozart idiort set and the attack on Erasmus was endless.

However, at this stage SA has a 14 point difference advantage over New Zealand - but most importantly the Springboks have 7 points and New Zealand 6 points on the log.

If SA beat the Argentinians they will win the  RC trophy.

Let us dearly remind the members in the 2015 series the Springboks lost all three tests, now they have  win and a draw - so is it not time that the idiot squad on site apologize to Erasmus for their vicious attacks on him personally..      

What Rassie & co. are getting right is the rush defense. It creaked a bit at times today but they held on to shut NZ out every time they looked like establishing overlaps on the outside. Only Barrett's pace got them through once.

With regards to attack the Boks are still a big fat zero out back. There's nothing constructive or smart going on, it looks a shambolic mess.

I guess we have to take into account that there were a number of players on both sides who lacked match sharpness, having not played in weeks.

I'm not sold on Fransie yet...neither on his improved attitude...let's see. Dom Alende didn't do much wrong today....unless Rassie wants to see if Fransie can go all 80, I'll leave things as they are, but Mapimpi must go.

DA was safe on defense and the same old predictable blunt force on attack, but I'm not sure how much defensive pressure he generated. Both Frans and Esterhuizen are very active in rushing the line, but I will check on the replay.

Not ideal - since we are stuck  with Steyn as the only alternative option at center.   He did squat in the Aussie test and just a bout the same today.

Duh A is no superstar, but still better than any other 12 we have. ATM I can live with Fransie on the bench or starting the odd match, be is there because his experience brings a bit of calmness in tight matches at the death...he won't last a whole match...starting him will waste his best possible contribution...we need another option at 12...Esterhuizen is Fransie without the xp...pity we didn't try willemse there.

Ou Mike rewriting the rugby law books: penalties for holding on now goes against players doing "protection and recovery". 

So by the way Mike, ESPN has so far scored 1 penalty against DA, not 0.

There is a case of players hanging on to balls where penalties are given away.  In cases such as these the referee gives an indication o holdiong onto the ball as the reason for the penalty.  

The ref indicated clearly that in the case of the one Vermeulen was penalized and in the case of the other one Smith was penalized,   In both cases the referee clearly indicated the reason for the pen alty and in both cases holding on was  not indicated as the reason for the penalty.   

We're  talking about the penalties Damian gave away not Thor or Smith.

But there were more penalties given away by Smith and Vermeulen - but that was not mentioned by you - the attack was all on De Allende and praising of Steyn - wo did squat to justify the glorification.  Keep it up - you are a joke.  

Where have I glorified Steyn? I've simply been pointing out the double standard you apply in judging him vs judging DA. I am downloading the game for review, can't comment on the performance of either beyond what the stats say until I've reviewed the game in peace to check exactly how and what they contributed.
