Here is Rassie explaining the team selection at a press conference.

Some of the oaks lacking ruby acumen are all at sea and would do well to view this video.

Verlam =Paralysed, Rassie,s head is working overtime :) so Fassi is solid in defence and Willie is Rotational? We might see a more tighter game on sat I think.

Very tight match, hence the call on xp...this match is seen as a final...which it is...it's not about Fassi or Sasha...it's about the team being more than the sum of the parts...the noobs ain't there yet.

Really speaking about coaches I would make this point.

Since 1995 many players have taken to playing professional rugby and have gained valuable experience and in so doing have given coaches/managers more experienced players to select for the respective teams.

Sure Rassie has made great strides as the coach/manager but he has also had a larger, fitter, more experienced and seasoned full time professional players to select from as opposed to earlier coaches/managers.

Give credit when it is due by all means but don't bash the others in the process.

AJ it’s been a while now that coaches have had access to fitter more experienced players SA has always had a wealth of talent to choose from So much makes up the perfect coach, Rassie comes close to ticking those boxes Rassie is a combination of test match experience, astute rugby brain, master tactician and an all round nice guy that everyone buys into, especially his players He is not perfect of course but who is. Easily the best coach the Boks have ever had

Yes he has done well managing the talent at his disposal with a poor backline coach forced on him as well.

Sacha - maybe after 8 tests in  10 weeks he may need a rest - but  is still on the bench.    Another player to be givm a rest is De Allende = but that will have to wait until Willemse is availlable. Esterhuizen cannot be taken a chance with - the team may end up with having to play with  14 men  for three-quaters of the match.   .

Mozart is talking shit again.    In teh test last week there were one maul try.   The moment te ball crier leaves the maul - the maul ends and a new phase developed.   So Mozar t is as per normal a shitspreader again.
