The movie has been titled the Brighton Miracle....Pearl Harbour all over again for South Africa as their historic loss to Japan hits the big screen next year...

Tem Morrison to play Eddie Jones..... i wonder who will play Heineken Meyer?... maybe Matt Damon , he's doing some good impressions at the moment...sounds like a good propaganda movie for Japanese rugby in the making ....

Should be entitled "Boku Seppuku". Bert from Sesame Street can play Pienaar, a log can play Lood. Put a sheep on Boom Boom Koopa's head and you have Lambie.

Boku Seppuku sounds a little like a Haka sort of thing.

Yet again the Boks lead from the front to provide entertainment to the masses.

It is all what SA rugby is left with.

Will be truthful, nothing like the propaganda outlet invictus.

Unlike NZ the Boks never seek to humiliate weaker opponents, and thus have always been more vulnerable to a minion uprising. And then when you play Captain Confusion at flyhalf and the Skim at 13....well it makes for a good story.

Which means that Samoa were not weaker opponents or that biting is not humiliating.

The ABs rightfully think its shaming your opponent to back off.

That movie like Pearl Harbour does have a lot to do with the pillaging in the Pacific .

Well as far as their player roster goes anyways....

I would love to see the movie.   It would remind me of the "most experienced team in the history of the Springboks" be humiliated because half of the elderly and useless should never have been in the WC squad and illustrated the stupidity of  coach who selected them.
Will Meyer be the comedy character in the movie???????

I had to check the false figures and craziness.  Lets quote the starting players here and see how they figure out:-

30 year and over   -   9  players

25 -  29                 -    3  players

below 25 years     -    3  players

The average age of the starting team was 29.4 years of age.

Don't try his stunt again BSter!!!!!!!

If you take Matfield out of the equation  it drops to something like 26.7 years. I posted the numbers twice before. Can't be bothered to do it again. Lügnerin keeps ignoring those figures as it shows a team that has an average age in it's prime. Younger than the World Champions. Many of those in their 30s actually looked more youthful than the youngsters! Kirchner was full if running. One of our best attackers. Du Preez made an immediate impact when he came on. Schalk and Beast were two of our best starters. Victor was about a 7/10. Steph was poor. Lood had one or two big runs, but was anonymous elsewhere. Kriel was hopelessly out of his depth. Lambie and Pienaar player a game the Japanese do much better. The Boks were caught out playing the game the Japanese wanted. Always take your opponents best options away. Force them to beat you with their weakest tools. The Boks were tactically nieve.

This is unbelievable BS.    I took every starter and added up their ages in 2015 and divided it by 15 and the result is 29,4 as the average age of the starting players.   How AO can get to 27 is really a total lie which he hoped nobody would check out.

His descriptions as to what happened in the game was equally BS lies.   None of the players in their 30's did anything constructive in the game - all were poor to atrocious.   So the fairy tale creator is in full swing.   But what else can ne expect from a fool like AO

Japan played a very good game that day, I dought they would win on most days. Theirs was an heroic effort! Boks gambled by taking them lightly & lost. If the steyn’s were playing the results might have been different, lol perhaps Matfield was not seagulling enough on that day? All water under the bridge now.

The Boks played them at their game and lost. They had two months to study South Africa, where Jones drilled them night and day. They weren't just capable, they were very well prepared. The Boks thought they could role them over, just run at them. The Japanese league is based entirely on running, at a faster speed than Super rugby. The Boks should have exploited their lack of height and size. I'd have begun the game with deep raking kicks into the corners and forced them to compete in the lineouts. Channel one ball until they are reduced to rubble. Then open up later in the game, if they hadn't already broken. This Japanese side scored 30 points against Australia last year. That's not a minnow score against a first tier nation. They've long had quality in their backline. Its always been size that'd prevented them from consistently laying a platform for their attack.

Here's the game on YouTube. You can see how well both sides attacked. You will also see how loose the game was right from the start. The Boks didn't control the game the way they should have. It was similar to Fiji in 2007, except Smit settled the team down and they imposed their physicality and structure on the Fijians, breaking them.

Kriel missed a tackle for the winning nipper try...Coenie got himself yellow carded. There are plenty of things that could have contributed to our loss....those two things guaranteed it AND THERE WERE 4 PLAYERS UNDER 25.....LOMP, STEPHANIE, LAMBIE AND KRIEL. The usual Tokkie inaccurate bs.

Average age of the starters 29.7....average age of the bench 27.0. The average age of the team 28.76. But here's the thing...we were ahead by 29 points to 22 at minute 62. Then lost by 34 points to 32. In other words our 29.7 year old starters won their part of the game by 7 points....the team with the 27.0 year old subs on the field lost their part of the game by 12 points to 3. According to Liarmike's own logic, therefore, we went too young in the last quarter. Case closed.

The Japanese trained to the nth degree for the Pearl Harbour attack too .The US navy thought the harbour too shallow for torpedo attack but the Japanese modified their torpedoes with wooden fins ,and they trained in a harbour that was a dead ringer for Pearl.

Pretty stupid attacking the US and thinking they would just give up ,but making an undeclared attack that ensured they wouldnt .

It is only the BS of Mozart that counts here of course,  One does not count the bench when calculating the average age of the players - to do that would be a very difficult calculation to be done - by calculating if according to he minutes the bench players play and then recalculate the average age of each starter and bench player to arrive at an average age for the two players involved.

However, the nutcase attacked me for making a rough calculation and being 0,3  out - but his co-liar being 2,7  out  is not even mentioned.

And then the BS simplistic story came forth again.  The Springboks should never at any stage of the game being less than 7 points up in the game.   But they were due to a BS display by  virtually all of his favourites and then the total idiocy of blaming a late incident involving Kriel as the only reason for the loss.

That is the way his distorted thinking always work.   Hence another confirmation of his lack of knowledge about the game.

WD I have recently read a new comprehensive history of the naval events in WW2. Starting with some of the crazy stuff Churchill tried to do in Norway....to Leyte Gulf the greatest naval battle in history, the equivalent of Kursk for tanks. Well worth the read. @ denny....no more dead than Matfield, Schalk, Morne etc. sadly.

Hoist by your own Petard Liarmike......29.7 year old starters have a poor game, but are still ahead by 7 points at minute 62.....the. 27 year old subs then lose the last 18 minutes 12 to 3. Game, set and match!

Game, set and match  whatever the ignorant fool meant.   Who caused the team to be only 7 points up at the stage you and scream about - the no 4 team in world rugby as against the number 15 team at that stage.   Logic goes out of the window as per normal.

Listen Mozart your  distortions won't help at all - the players who buggered up landing the team in that situation were clearly identified in their stats so try again stupid - the latest sell did not work.

29 to 22 vs 3 to 12.....de facto the younger subs lost the game, backed up by Coenie being penalized twice and carded....and Kriel missing a basic one on one tackle which gifted the Niponese the game. Enjoy your crow.

Liar - all replacements took place at the same time - what a farce your argument really is.  Your BS is further exposed by the comments of your fellow liar who claimed that Du Preez as replacement was so good that he caused a try to be scored when he replaced Pienaar.   There is some proof in that - he did have a try assist - but failed in all other aspects as well.

Why don't you except that the failed players in that game was virtually all caused by the hopeless performance by your favourites.   Go and study the stats and see who the real failures were stupid?
