It was announced today that the boks and all blacks will be squaring off at Thickening.

The game is two weeks out from the official World Cup kick-off match against Scotland. Not sure whether it would be best team on the park or if they will be playing the game flat out.

None the less, should be worth heading down to Twickers to watch the game.

Not that Twickenham is my favourite stadium at all. Would have preferred any other stadium but Twickenham .

Like the Olympic stadium, that place is amazing

I’m going to plan a trip to watch that match, play some golf in England, eat at Scott’s and then go to Paris to see the Boks play Ireland.

Dave if you aren’t too busy perhaps you can buy me a beer

I’m definitely up for it, some beers and good Rugga.

I watched Boks vs Wales back in 2015 wc quarter final. Just felt that stadium was really dark and cold. Views were restricted too. But I was behind the post though.

I did watch the sharks vs crusaders on the half way line which was fine.

But Wembley stadium is probably my favourite of UK stadiums.

Then, newlands will always have a special place for me. Not the prettiest, but atmosphere was great.

Then, Ellis park is amazing for any bok surporter. Was there when the boks beat the All Blacks with a last minute penalty from Lambie. The guy got up after Keino shoulder charge to his head. That was brutal. I understand why Lambie can’t play anymore and why they so strict on head contact.

Speaking of head contact, I was at Newlands that day when Japie Mulder lined up a young De Wet Barry, off the ball, lined him up and ran 20 and shattered his cheek bone. I hate rugby players like that. Japie should gotten a life time ban for that.

Then, Leicester Tigers ground was the funniest. 15 000 people squeezed in, you can here the ball bounce off the tin roof

Also, takes ages to get to Twickenham, walk for miles. Train station is small and crowded. You pretty much queue from the moment you get on the train

Hahaha, I think we all on here want our players to perform 100% for the boks. But yes, we do pick up all of their mistakes and don't let it go easily.

I for one, was massively irritated way back when during the Junior World Cup when Kolbe didn't kick the ball out, but resulted in Wales counter attacking and scoring a try. SA beat NZ in that tournament but fell to Wales. For many years after that I just felt Kolbe didn't have the mental aptitude to close out a match.

He went off to France and got better, but his first game against the All Blacks he got bumped and the ABs scored a try, he came back with a try of his own.

However, he has since grown and probably the first name on my team sheet, when fit.

I remember Peter Steph leaving the barn door open for Youngs to dummy him and ran in 2 or 3 tries just by his poor defence.

Losing hurts, especially when players make such big lapses in defence.

The same can be said of Mpimpi in the WC pool stage against the AB. Mapimpi couldn't mark or bring his man down and they scored in his channel. Had we not dropped those tries, it could have been a different story.

So Ja, we are all hard on players.

For me Dud, inability to consistently pass the ball or show any skill in a long pass is a big point of contention for us on here.

Look, we even persuaded Saffex that Wiese is the man for the job. Dumb muscle, rock solid but not flashy. Gets stuck in. I'm no fan of Wiese, just looks like a school yard bully and not an athlete. But, the people at Leicester love him and they call him the Transporter because he made so many strong carries. He can off load, but Rassie doesn't like players to off load the ball. Bash Bash Bash Bash, Rassies Rugby.

So ja, should be a good one.

Just waiting for the tickets to become available
