Game starts off with some pretty average kicking both ways.

Good hands by Kriel to score. Dud Allende featured in the build up with another tap on pass….obviously the new skill for the season replacing the kick through

Wasn't expecting much from this game but it's still a bit of a damp squib. Hope England and the Argies bring some fireworks. Bok backplay is so average taking into account the level of opposition.

2nd half about to get underway. I think Wales have done well to limit the damage. Earlier on it looked like it might turn into a rout. It still might.

Good debut for Vusi Moyo. I think he's been great.

Come on Bokke!

Wales on the attack and now get a penalty but the Bok defence is good. Tomos Williams almost over but held up, ref goes back for penalty advantage. Wales rumble it up and there's yet another penalty advantage. Could be a card coming . . . no, Wales tap and try to crash over but now the Boks get a penalty. Big opportunity missed for Wales.

Reinach fumbles and then gives away a penalty for playing the ball off his feet.

Wales back on attack. Reinach is subbed for Herschel Jantjies. Manie Libbok also on, I guess for Moyo?

Manie with an average cross kick which Jaco Williams does well to keep in but then Jesse knocks on.

Ref gives Wales a warning.

This is the kind of game from which you learn absolutely nothing. There's no structure to the Boks and even less to Wales. A proper getjommel as we said in the old days.

Springboks all having a go themselves when a simple pass would open things up . . . back for a penalty advantage and surely the card will come now . . . no, it must be close though.

Arendse in. Wales just nowhere, Boks scraping along in second gear with a stuttering engine and still comfortably beating them. I'm off, will check in for the England game.
