Pretty good selections Adizero, but I am now afraid meyer is going t oflood the Boks with hasbeens and never has been bulle palyers. apparently he want matfield as captain. Will we get Fourie Du Preez back as well. Who else wearing blue will come in unexpectedly.

Hope I am wrong.

Main areas on contention in your side would probably the front row and loose forwards. Absence of Habana at wing as well.

Good side, would be pretty close to mine. I'd have JP at  13 and play Habana on the wing. Move Jean to the bench. I'd include Taute on the bench ahead of Morne, we dont need Morne as Lambie would be the back-up 10. I'd keep Jannie at 3 for now as he did a good job there last year.

Chiliboy ahead of Strauss on the bench and I'd keep a tighthead on the bench, so I'd play Malherbe ahead of Greyling. Its a close call for the bench loosie, Josh Strauss, Coetzee, Schalk, CJ Stander would all be pushing. The more I see of v/Zyl at 9 the more I like him. Flip and Kruger would push Elstadt at lock. I would also push to have Mujati at 3.

Yes Chiliboy has been in fantastic form, the lad is a turnover king or did you not watch the match on Sat. Liebenberg is a joke, will never play a test for SA

JDV has been playing great rugby lately, but hasnt that been a long time due??? IMO since returning from munster, his sp rugby form has been adequate and int form has been average.

s kitshoff should be the loosehead, good scrummager and his work rate around the field is phenomenal, oosthuizen on the bench and the du plesiss brothers to round of the front row.

strauss is in better form compared to chiliboy, but chiliboy got int experience and hasnt been playing bad, just not as good as in form strauss.

janties at flyhalf, hes been average since returning from injury, but before that he had great form in the beggining of the rounds and at CC, once he regains that confidence which hasnt been helepd by the lions lack of success, he will shine like the superstar his potential reeks of.
goosen has the same mojo, but i would leave him on the bench.

1s kitshoff, 2b du plesiss, 3j du plesiss, 4e etzebeth, 5a bekker, 6h brussow, 7w alberts, 8s burger (C), 9f hougaard, 10e janties, 11l movovo, 12f steyn, 13jp pieterson, 14b basson, 15p lambie

16c oosthuizen, 17c rallepelle, 18r elstdat, 19m coetzee, 20d duvenage, 21j goosen, 22j taute

youth, form, expeirence, the platform for a future without compromising the present.

Sasukeu I like your way of thinking when it comes to selections, especially when it comes to flyhalf. Many on here can't see the class Jantjies displays, the kids has that magic touch ala Quade Cooper - love that in a rugby player, it should be embraced not frowned upon as so many do on here. Its typical SA conservative mindset though - this lot get all excited by the very average Morne Steyn, talk about in the cupboard stuff.

I'd be happy with Kitshoff at 1, he is a class young player, but Beast is the incumbent and at 26 is still young, so will push Kitshoff for a starting spot. Bismark walks it at 2, but I think Chiliboy is in great form and would be my bench hooker. Jannie is our best bet at 3 for now but I would like to see a player like young Malherbe of the Stormers added to the squad to push Jannie for the starting spot. Malherbe is our future, solid in the scrums and puts in the hard yards around the park. Etzebeth and Bekker walk it at lock, with Flip, Elstadt and J.Kruger pushing. Brussouw is the obvious choice at 6, with Daniel and Kolisi pushing.

Cant say I agree with Alberts at 7, he would be in contention but Coetzee, Vermeulen, Potgieter, J.Strauss and CJ Stander are better. I'd play Vermeulen at 7. At 8 Spies walks it for me, with Vermeulen and Strauss pushing. Schalk will come into contention but not at 8, he has to push for 7.

Hougaard at 9 is the easiest selection to make. v/Zyl of the Cheetahs looks the best bet as the bench 9, although Duvenhage and Vermaak are quality 9's. Ruan Pienaar would probably be the sensible short term solution with v/Zyl the longterm.

Agreed on Jantjies and Goosen for the 10 spot. Prior to his injury I would have gone for Jantjies, but on current form I'd start with Goosen and have Jantjies on the bench. Am happy with Mvovo on the wing and would have Habana on the other wing. Basson fails at test level as he is just not physical enough. JJ Engelbrecht would push on the wing as well.  Agreed with your centres, but I'd give Taute a run at 13 as well. I'd keep Jean in the mix but age is catching up to him. Lambie walks it at 15, with Taute and Kirchner pushing. I like Joe, but he is too small for test rugby

some how JP jus doesnt look like a centre to me, i prefer him on the wing. Jean will be my centre for now since he's got the experience and his been in great form so far.

Great pack susu, but please no Jantjies yet. He has to do more than throw hospital pop passes like those against the Bools. Also forget Basson and Mvovo.....they look great until they come up against top SH wings. Take Mvovo, gassed to the kick ahead by Digby Ioane, he tackles Digby as he slows to pick up the ball....but then lets him offload for a try! I'm not sold on JP at 13 either....but he deserves a bit more time to make his case.

Dave you need some assistance here without a doubt!!

Beast is a serial loafer. If he had a work ethic he would be in seriouys contention. So right now Kitshoff and Coenie are ahead of him. I also thing Deon Greyling is playing well and works hard outside the scrum.

Ye Bismark walks it but chilli boy is after Strauss and Liebenbeg. Liebenberg given his powerful scrumming is number two perhaps just shading Strauss. Please dave get real with this chilli boy delusion!!! Not as bad a syour matfiled one but delusional nevertheless.

Jannie is not necessarily our best tighthead. Harris stood up very well against the crusaders and then there is Malherbe also. Harris gets through a mountain of work.

Etzebeth walks it but I am not as sure about Bekker. I would like to See Elstadt in combo with Etzebeth. I want two Bakkies Botha type locks. Yes Bekker would be a vast improvement on wee matfield and is reasonably physical but elstadt has a lot of go in him. We need to see how th sicombo goes. Mostert of course is a possibility but I cant say how he is going.

Brussouw is by no means the obvious choice as he has had a limited impact for the Cheetahs. Daniels and Kolisi will not come close to a Bok side - you must be joking!!!!!! cant take you this seriously at all on this one. you talk about size and want wee daniels as a loosie! Bwahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Spiesies days are numbered unless Meyer has a blue/pink moment. Get over this obsession with spiesies Dave and try selecting on merit! Schalk may find himself at 6 so dont rule that out. Schalk and Vermulen are certainties. Elstadt also may surprise by getting the 7 jersey.

Forget about Ruan. He has gone badly down hill as we saw in the world cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Van Zyl is indeed one to watch - looks to be  a very good attacking scrumhalf. Fourie has to porve what he can do. Vermaak and Dunvenage are good players.

Morne and Goosen for now Dave. If Morne 's kicking doesn' t improve fast he could be in trouble. Sias is as least as good as Jantjes so dont forget him.

Yes Habana on the wing. Second wing uncertain about.. Fullback would probably Lambie but I have been impressed with Daniller and there is Taute of course. Joe may be a surprise. Kirchner has the same problem as de Jongh. Also he runs the ball up with little effect at super 15 level and will find it harder at test level. Need an educated boot at 15. He just seems a bit mindless. Joe before Kirchner for sure.

Well Dave I do hope this is of help to you.
