Rated by both the SA public and the UK media- as the worst Springbok team ever.
Coetzee has proven himself to be the worst coach in Springbok history. An experienced coach- but utterly out of his depth. It would be better to let the players coach the team.Put Eddie Jones in his job- or even White- (and the team would at least be functional and win over 60% of games)
Coetzee has a four-year contract without a performance clause that ensures termination of his job- other than transformation objectives.
This can be the only explanation - because otherwise, he would have been fired. This quota selection performance must have been built into his contract- otherwise, he would not be confident that he has three more years in the job.
The retention of Coetzee proves that it is not about what you know- but who you know.
I expect he is getting texts at the start of each week with the official numbers of how what the racial selection should be- and this helps shape the team selection.
If Jake White had these demands he would have talked about them in the media- which would not go down with the SARU puppets.

This from the Telegraph Granted, there are bigger problems in Springbok rugby than the identity of the coach; but still, dropping the likes of Bryan Habana and Willie le Roux and making 10 changes in a ridiculously inexperienced XV proved not bold but reckless. Goodness knows where South Africa go from here.

But will the fans vote with their feet or will they continue to fill the stadiums supporting this farce? Personally I didn't even watch the Welsh test. Seeing that team sheet was enough to know it was going to be an utter shambles not worth the time.
