uchiha clan spXV rnd 2 team of the week,,,

1 ben franks, 2 james hanson, 3 charlie faumuina

4 flip van der mewe, 5 sam whitelock

6 schalks burger, 7 matt hodgson, 8 duane vermeulen

9 alby mathewson, 10 jacques louis potgieter

12 jan serfontein, 13 chris sautia

11 lwazi mvovo, 15 jese mogg, 14 rod davies

1 x hurricanes

1 x crusaders

1 x blues

3 x reds

2 x force

1 x brumbies

1 x sharks

2 x stormers

3 x bulls

real slim picking amongst the props and also the locks, nobody anywhere was a stand out, especially in the tighthead position.

ben franks defensive efforts and general all round prop play, plus lack of competition elsewhere sees him as my loosehead.

close calls would be,,,

adriann strauss who just missed out on the No2.

marcell coetzee who had a great game, but hodgson had the game of his life.

cobius reinach who just missed out on the No9.

simon hickey narrowly lost out to potgieter.

kyle godwin lost out to serfontein.

What did De Allende do wrong this week?   I know he messed up the Crusaders defence a couple of times and you may not have liked it.   I would say he was better than Serfontein - who did well enough to be mentioned - but was not on par with De Allende.
Incidentally I see on Foxsport that De Allende is together with Crotty the top point scorers at center.  Time to buy in - he comes at a good low price.

@mikey,

de allende was good enough to be mentioned, so i will add him on the list, but de allende and stormers attack while better then the crusaders is still  a big meh.

serfontein was great with ball in hand, b ut had a very high workrate as well.
bottomline, serfontein makes my team of the week, cos attacking with ball in hand and defending well are not the only things required from rugby players and serfontien demonstrated this more then the others, including godwin and de allende.

errr thanks for the foxsport tip, but i might wair till ur ranked higher then me before i even consider taking ur advice, LMAO,

Please do not mention that.   I fucked up royally this week and scored the worst points ever since I started participating in fantasy selections.  m considering quitting from participation as a result.
Just think - made four Rebels players bankers and my total points on them were -
Higginbotham      -   19Burgess             -     8Ellison               -    16Woodward (c)    -    -6
The 4 players average 9,25 points and my captaincy score was cursed as well. But I was a bit lucky that Lambie did not play - since I picked up 31 points through Goosen.
However, this week is my wildcard week and believe me - all the Rebels players will be gone never to return again.  Definitely De Allende and his 40 points ahead of Serfontein - the Bulls have a bye this Round in any event - for me.
Just a question - can you ever trust an Aussie?   Which bookmakers cleared up on the Rebels game and who was paid off?   The Rebels cannot without reason be that weak,   Beware of the Crusaders game this weekend - it could be another weird outcome.
