I’m struggling with this one as I think Ox is the most destructive scrummager of the 3 and is so good in general play as well

But the thought of dropping one of Os or Beast is crazy

Os Was a great prop in general play. But in Rasmus ball everything hinges on scrum penalties and while Os was never in trouble in the scrums he also didn’t produce a flow of penalties.

Beast to start because he never tired, while Ox perhaps more explosive, seems less effective in 50minute stints.

Yeah maybe - but I’m guessing the fact that Os never had the company of a dominant tighthead in his day might have contributed to him not being as destructive as Beast and Ox have been who have had the company of Malherbe

Could be Dave, it’s hard to make a fair comparison….but I’m a Beast fan. He dominated the Lions tighthead in 2009 and destroyed Old King Cole in the 2019 WC. That’s 10 years of continuous excellence.

Agreed it’s just such a tough call between the 3

Ox, Beast, sorry Os.

Says a lot as many regard Os as the best loosehead ever, when potential Beast and Ox are marginally better
