Ref was allowing the Brumbies to get away with a number of things from the American style passing to coming in from the side and the Brumbies defense being miles off side. But Chiefs still got hammered ref aside. They had no answer. Brumbies could do no wrong.

 I rate Steve Walsh high given the current refereeing standards. He usually does his work and doesn't affect game's evolution. OK, he's a little bit prima-dona and enjoys the limelight, but what's wrong with it? as long as it doesn't interfere with the game....

But today he has had a very bad day and his refereeeing has affected the evolution of the match. The 2 first tries came after 2 clear forward passes. The first one was blatant, the receiver was way before Tommua. Untill then the game was very equalled and both teams were competing in mistakes.
After the second try the chiefs' reaction has come and brought the only minutes of interest and intensity of the game. These few moments have been stopped on a dime with a yellow card.
And this yellow card came after an interception made in an offside position by Tomane. The brumbies have been offside all the game long and Walsh allowed it.
Beeing one man up because of this yellow, the 2 remainding brumbies' tries arrived. After that the game was over.

Something needs to be adressed with the TMOs and the forward passes. What happened today is not new, it comes happening since long time. If the TMOs cannot see the hands of the player who is passing they always say it hasn't been forward. Many tries have been conceded after blatant forward passes. Two of them today
