Steyn and Lsmbie

Lets look at the stats. Frans had 4 balls the entire game. He passed 1, kicked 2 and ran 1. he made an offload and missed 1 tackle in 8. Lambie had 23 balls and kicked 10, passed 8, and ran 5. he missed 2 tackles and beat 1 defender. The best player was Marais who beat 6 defenders, offloaded 3 and made 18m in 7 runs. The worst defenders were Pietersen 9/4, Alberts 4/2, Bismarck 3/1 and Adrianse 0/1.

Looking at the stats I would say that Lambies lack of connection with Frans was a big problem. Frans had 4 touches of the ball the entire game. Modern attack is heavily centres around the inside channel and to not get your 12 some good ball is suicide. His kicking was pretty bad and his running was not good either. Reinach was awesome as well as Marais. But the lack of quality or participation at centre killed the sharks in this game. This is uncharachterist of how they played this year. so when all is said and done Lambie did nothing to ignite any kind of positive play. It's definitely the worst I have seen in terms of partnership with a 12 ever! May as well played Swiel in my opinion. So yeah this is no bias just there for you all to see.
