Stade Francais will be well-advised to keep him on the bench if they want to play running attacking rugby - Morne would not fit into a pattern like that. Yes - it was previously stated that he would not start in the upcoming game. The French are cleverer than our coach - they would phase Steyn in slowly to try and teach him their game plan first - he would not start soon and if he does not fit in he would remain a bench player for them. But that would not put off Meyer insofar as future selection for the Springbok team is concerned - after all Steenkamp comes off the bench for Toulouse, but Meyer still select him for the Springbok team.
