From the Stormers Website info I gathered that -

*   Liebenberg will be selected at hooker this weekend against the Chiefs; and

*   Fourie will be moved to the number 6 position.

Indications are that the other selection changes will be Grant for flyhalf and that taute will only be avialable for selection in Round 6.

The team is hence looking like it would be as follows:-

15    Pietersen

14    Aplon

13    De Villiers

12    De Allende

11    Habana

10    Grant

  9    Groom

  8    Vermeulen

  7    Elstadt

  6    Fourie

  5    Bekker

  4    Steenkamp

  3    Malherbe

  2    Liebenberg

  1    Kitshoff

I am not fgoing to make any guesses as to the bench at this stage - becuse there really are some variables.

Insofar as the log situation is concerned - the team is in a desperate situation and I suspect that they may perform above themselves in an effort to get some real points.   Athough the signs are bad - I am not going to write them off completely at this stage and think they may yet surprise all of us in this round.

Ou Maaik, who is this Pretorius person you have at fullback for the Hapless Stompies?

Well Tiaan is a must - hope he is fit. Deon at 6 is the correct move as well.  I think van der heever should have started. Joe and Geo make our back three too small with only Habana a decent size.

Pity about Taute being misisng for so long and of course Etzebeth.

The signs are no worse than for the sharks. Given that the Stormers could as easily have won away at durbs. If we lift our game a bit more then the chiefies could be in for a hard afternoon unless of course you think the chiefies will whip the sharks in durbs.

No worries, I was just wondering if they'd uncovered some new fullback who might stand up to the Chiefs onslaught but I see it's just one of the usual nancy-boy Stompies at fullback.

I see they've run out of loose forwards already so they may have to play one of their fatties on the flank. Wehe! What a joke team the Hapless Stompies are!
