Apparently the Stormers have obtained enough money to negotiate new contracts with Wilco Loue and Damian de Allende to contract them for the 2026=27 URV Season. Accorin g to information begiriations have reced an advanced stage - bu contracts have not being signed yet,

The Sharks are megotiating with a Namibian player at present playing for Hawkes Bay to replace Am afer he NZ rugby season ended.

Makes no sense that the Sharks are wasting money on a centre given they have Esterhuizen, Hooker, JJ, Frans Venter and Marnus Potgieter (a damn good young centre, who missed last season with an injury)

Surely the Sharks should get a new manager first, and let him choose the player he needs.

The Sharks backlne thus far in the URC was a disgrace. There forwards doinate the opposition in all tests played - their backlines lost the matches,

You apparently missed the pogram yoto wet all the player contracts and will develop a new recruitment program/ That issue will be finalised by the end of the URC series in Aptil next year. A very complicated peocess requiring restructure of the organization.

Frans Venter is 34. Isn’t Marnus Potgieter More of a wing?

Anycase I think Uncle Mike is talking about Le Roux Malan. A 26 Year old Inside Centre.

He is quite a Talent.

The Sharks used Marnus Potgieter on the wing a lot because of the centres they have but his primary position is 13

Interestingly Le Roux Malan, had a very serious ankle break at WC 23.

Actually, he is very lucky to still be playing after his Ankle Surgery.

Mpower

Thanks for the above info. Some players have the rare ability to have ball sense and play instrinctive rugby like Sacha does.

I have not seen any matches Potgieter played in - but what the video shows is some real instinctiv rugby being played by Potgieter.

The Sharks frwards this year in URC is why the forwards of the Sharks overwhelm thir opponents - t he Sharks backline malfunctioned and they lost 4 URC matches our of 5 played, I do not remember playing at center for the Sharks - while the Sharks played another player at 10 in thi 5th URC match - was that Potgeiter?

Have a look at the video dealing with 18 year old Ahmed as a player.
