Stormers front row comes to play.

Having literally lost the match against the Cheetahs, and been poor throughout the season......the Stormers front row turned in a match winning performance against the Sharks. All culminating in that last penalty,  Cilliers on the Beast. I can't say I have seen the Beast have a worse game.

This was a close contest with Becker and Steph du Toit playing well . Kolisi was way better than Marcel Coetzee...maybe his best game as a Stormer.

In the backs van Aswegen put Joe Pietersen under a lot of pressure clearing the ball, but generally did well. Jean made the Stormers try and de Jongh took it well. For the Sharks Jordaan continues to spiral down....and Lambie is really very dull in general play. On the bright side Frans Steyn, in spite of being comprehensively handed off by de Jongh for the try....did show some productive running from the back.

Two matches against the Stormers this year and the Sharks have no tries.....the pressure on Lambie to be more creative is mounting.

 Coetzee is a one trick pony and is not growing as a player.How Plum allows him to vegitate like this beats me.

Kolisi played a decent game but do take into account the lightweight sharls loose trio which is their achilles heel right now. 

I ha e always thought Kitshof could scrum and he showed he was more than enough for Jannie. Malherbe showed he is the guy to take the tighthead spot.

Kitshoff's work outside the scrum is better than beasts and I would love to see his tackle count! He may have reached the point where he adds more value than beast?

Lambie was pretty good but lacks a bit of spark. reinach was veryy dangerous.

I see vermaak, undervalued by some here, was man of the match.
