Juan de Jongh is out of action
Stormers centre Juan de Jongh has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury.
De Jongh hurt himself during the warm-up match against the Bulls in Polokwane.
Bulls loose forward Arno Botha also injured his knee in that game, although his was more serious and he will be sidelined for six months.

This guy is getting injured more frequently and missed a number of games last year as well. He is small in stature and cannot really compete - hence the obvious decline in performances last year.
The Stormers have a very good center pair in De Villiers and De Allende and I do not think they will be badly affected by this injury.

De Jongh can only leave for France or Japan if he can get a decent contract offer - and he won't get one I am afraid. Too marginal a player for that. Wish somebody woiuld take him though - it would help the Stiormers massively and we may then see a poroper Stormers backline for a change.

You are 100% insofar as De Jongh's distributional skills is concerned. Instead of being a good playmaker - De Jongh far too frequently "dies" with the ball. Maybe he should play at wing - but our dear coach Coetzee will never think thus far.
