Stormers need a high quality consultant

to deal with their attacking inadeqaucies. So says a audio post by Keo.

I have not listened to the tape but I have to agree that this is the case.

As Bluebok  has correctly said the attacking ability is inadequate.  No bonus points so far for  scoring 4 tries!!!!!!!!!!   This could sink us.

Alistair Coetzze, the former Bok backline coach is  a gentleman and conducts himslef well  s a likeable fellow etc.However the truth is neithr he or Fleckie have the nous to sort the matter out.

One recognises though that it is a matter involving the whole team and not purey the backs. A better balance between defence and attack, ones strategy etc. 

One should also not under estimate the loss of Jaque Fourie, Sadie (who was playing so well when down here) JJ and whitehead etc. All these guys added to the collective strength of the backline pool.

We need some real brains sorting this out. Alistair I am only a phone call away!

anycase yeah said the same thing on the other thread, instead of firing fleckie they should get an attack minded Backline consultant or somehting alont that line. Makes far more sense, it worked for Jake white in 2007 why won't it work now.

Ek the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line. My tactices would be to have my monster pack of 940 odd kgs and we would perfect the rolling maul. We would start the rolling maul even from our trylineon our trylne and roll it up over the opponentsts goals line. We would then ntke the opponents kick off and repeat the excercise.

The crowds would be off their seats as they always are when when a rolling maul marches on. I would then sack the defence and bacline coach because they wouldt not really be needed and this would give me more money to buy even biggger forwards.

By 60 minutes the opposition would walk off the field in abject surrender and the Mighty Stormers would do a victory march surrounded by rapturous applause.

Its a plan not even a rugby genuis like Rassie could conceptualise.

Ek I got the impression it was more than a backline consultant - this guy would be asked to take a comprehensive view of things  pertaining to attacking play.
