im surprised that ciliers is starting over malharbe, but ciliers was strong during the spXv last year, even if his Boks form was average.

i think theres some real weakness in the midfield which can be exploited by the bulls, but luckily for the stormers, wynard olivier and whoever he gets partnered with is unlikely to do anything amazing,e specially with mournful morne dictating the play.

i rate joe pieterson alot, i thought he had a great 2012 spXV campaign and i cant help but think that coetzee missed an opportunity here with de jongs injury, aminly shifting habana to 13 where he is no stranger and planting pieterson out on the wing.

i also like duvenage a lot too, but the few games i have seen of groom has solid i guess, still duvenages class and experience would have helped janties settle better IMO.

my backline for the stormers would have been,,,
9 d devunage, 10 e janties, 11 j pieterson, 12 JDV, 13 b habana, 14 g aplon, 15 j taute
20 n groom, 21 d de allenede, 22 g van deheever

still a good team though and big ups to alister coetzee for his quick team naming which is good from a fantasy rugby point of view, lolz.

i guess timo sweil didnt make the stormers squad??? he surely would have made the creater training squad though,,,

I remember warning you last year that Jordaan is going to cause problems for the Reds.  My warning this year is - beware of De Allende.   This kid is a class act - watch him carefully on Friday and put him on your reserve list for fantasy rugby in future.   I already have him as a center in my Test Rugby team and he is on the bench in the Fox team.    

i have allende on my watch list, but i doubt i will pick him given the other options available.

i would like to know if du toit is playing this week though, he can fill in a gap for me nicely.

im also strongly considering transfering pocock out this week, but i will have to wait and see,,,

The Sharks team is likely to be announced this weekend and there is a 66% chance that Du Toit will play.  Reason - both Daniel and Alberts are out as loosies.  Du Toit can be at lock - but he is also possibly being played as a loosie. 

In the meantime there are effectively only three real candidates to fill the vacancies as the result of the absence of Daniel and Alberts - namely Kankowski. Mtembu and Du Toit with Deysel being an outsie chance.  I will let you know about Du Toit soon as I get it on News 24.  Am also looking at Du Toit as a cheap player to com into my team set up in respect of Test Rugby initially - since I cannot bring him into the fox process as yet.  .
