Kolbe shreds Rhule for a try.
..
Hugo shakes off a feeble Stephanie for a try....Ox shakes off a feeble Stephanie for an offload, weak upper body strength.
...
Lleyds a very poor placement for a turnover. Where is the Bok coaching?
...
Malherbe belly flops again, penalty, 3 points
..
Unbelievably silly discipline in this game.
...
Willemse looking decent, but missing tackles.
..
And Kolbe shreds the Cheeters again
...
Blommetjies tries an offload to Senatla....comical. I seriously wonder if SA offloads are a net positive, others do it well but we just seem to feed the opponent.
..
Stephanie tries his move through the maul tactic denying the Stormers a shove at the maul...Cheeters score. stephanie runs at the half easily stripped, no upper body strength.
...
...end of half one.

Part Deux
..
Stephanie splattered in the cleanout, Rhule easily off loads in the Stephanie tackle
..
Stephanie makes a good offload to Fattie Malherbe, Kolbe try.
...
Stephanie head high tackle......yellow...Swart carries Kitshoff over the line...Cheeters score.
....
Fattie Viljoen run over by Swart.
...
Venter breaks , Kolbe reels him in, but offloads to Rhule for the try.
..
Mbonambi makes the crucial break and offload to Notshe, and stunningly Kolbe converts.
....
Cheeters have a chance but Venter keeps stepping inside....it's soooo predictable.
....
Match ends in chaos. Very pathetic game.

Just reporting the facts, I was a great fan of Piet du Toit.

Probably one of the most boring matches by the Stormers this year.

Mozart is the only person who defines a try saving tackle as a "weak tackle" - nobody can rely on him to give a factua l description on what happen during matches.

I would be amazed if anyone takes Moffie seriously after reading yet another of his interminable diatribes about Pieter-Steph du Toit.
According to our resident rugby noob, Pieter-Steph du Toit is slow, weak, dirty and he can't tackle.
Everyone else recognises him as a great jumper, powerful runner and tireless tackler with a phenomenal overall workrate.
This is all because Moffie failed to see anything special in Pieter-Steph du Toit when he first broke onto the scene (bearing in mind Moffie wouldn't recognise rugby talent if it had the word *TALENT* in bright, flashing neon lights and slapped him hard through his fat face) and he is way too proud to ever admit he got PSdT completely wrong so instead now he just makes a gigantic arsehole of himself after every game involving Pieter-Steph as Moffie tries to pretend PSdT made all these alleged blunders . . . when anyone who actually played the game can see what a huge positive contribution he makes to any team he plays for.
Oh well, it does provide some humour . . . even if it is becoming a bit repetitive.

Rooinek
It does not become repetitive - it is a total repeat game after game. And it always is the same players all the time.

So four years later what has Stephanie done for Bok rugby except get dummied twice by the Pom scrumhalf and lose the last lineout to the Italians. Thus far nothing, even though I was told by all the above he was going to be world class. Now he has been deservedly been put on the bench by a 105 kg lock, who is a much better rugby player. When will we see the revelation....LMAOFFY!

We all had to endure his "counter egg laying ruck 101" lecture last year ... and after having made such a fool of himself, I never saw a retraction ... or an apology from this pompous old man.
He got that wrong ... and sadly he seems a little befuddled over most rugby matter these day. PSDT is just another example.
We should see his usual 180 / 360 coming soon enough and when it does, let's just all pretend it's his brilliance and insight that's brought it to our attention.

I am afraid Mozart never got over the fact that Du Toit and De Jager was competing with Victor Matfield for selection as Springbok lock. That puts them head of his hate list.
The same applies to Serfontein and De Allende being replacing Jean de Villiers at center. In the case of backline players their usefulness was nullified by BS Meyer and Ludeke called "game plans".
He has gone eerily quiet on Serfotein and would soon claim he is now a 100% supporter, but that is likely to happen if he cannot find fault with Serfontein soon - just one missed tackle (if dreamt up) would be enough for a continuation of his anti Serfontein campaign..

Nope I haven't gone quiet on Stepfontein, I reported he had a very good game against the Sharks. As far as I know there has been no game since then....please correct me if I am wrong. But you are right Stephanie and Lomp are still trying, unsuccessfully, to compete with the legacy of Matfield.

BS - thee legacy of Matfield was before 2011. When he returned in 2014 after retirement he was a farce and so said all the real rugby commentators. You are not accepting that farcical situation - hence your dislike for competing players.

And Du Toit and De Jager was SA players of the Year, while the stats indicate that Matfield's MOM was a retirement memorial not earned during the game. There were in the game you love to quote better performers on the field of play. Game, set and match.
