Rhule- He was excellent on attack. He is like Jekyll and Hyde from game to game, sometimes from play to play or even phase to phase.
Stephanie- He needs to forget about playing scrumhalf. That skip pass in particular with poor.
Kolisi- solid. 
Delande- appears to be learning how to play again
Willemse- another all-round performance.

Overall a decent game against a strong reds team. The outside backs of the reds are hard to stop once they get speed in space. I was impressed with the ball retention and continuity by the Stormers. A few wrong decisions by forwards passing- but a solid outing.

Congrats to the wee stormers on their home field advantage win. I will watch the game later but it probably was a kiwi ref who would have given the stormers a helping hand. Kiwis always willing to help the helpless.

I think that Willemse is a shoo-in as Springbok flyhalf - he is only 19 years old and there is no other flyhalf who can compete with him.

Thule looked good on attack - but his defense remains a serious problem, 

I think that De Allende did very well and so did Viljoen.

The panel after the game said that Du Toit made a massive contribution to the Stormers forward issue,   I will compile an SA team of the week after the above game 

Incidentally Rhule was good in attacking play but with serious question marks on defense,   Kolisis did well but lost ball possession too frequently for my liking

Whitehead seemed surprised by the speed of the game. Rhule had a fine attacking game, his try was brilliantly taken. Still can't tackle ....made 4 missed 3 Viljoen is a plodder, but did well in the first try. Allende finally beats a tackle and throws a poor pass. Misses Dauguni for the Reds late breakout try. Willemse...some nice but inconsequential stepping. Phillips learned a bit about the charge down Stephanie the left wing is a new cute thing to add to the hype. But better hands out there might help. Can't see what all the hype is about Wiese.

Nice set of faultfinding here - but it is ridiculous to miss out what Viljoenm did to Kerevi before the Rhule try as an example - If ever there is a plodder it is the self-same Kerevi - he really has substandard pace and was cut off from going nearer to the posts by Du Toit.- who kept pace with him from  the start of his break despite the ten meter start Kerevi had.     

One can obviously not rely on the latest BS on the match and please note the total absence of proof about what is stated above as facts.   Every commentator and the crowd was impressed by Willemse's  performance - but the admirer of flyhalf kicking donkeys was not..     So lets look at his stats:-

Passing balls          =    21

Carrying balls        =    13

Meters made          =    57

Line  Breaks           =     2

Defenders Beaten   =     5

Someone cannot see how Willemse provides forward-going balls to the Stormers by putting them on the front foot.   Maybe he still wants Fat Fransie or Morne as the Sprngbok flyhalf. .

Well Kerevi certainly returned the favour and left Fatty Viljoen grasping air. And Daugunu scored the try you absolutely gormless old wreck. And even Kolisi outsprinted Stephanie.

Steph showed exceptional pace and was outstanding as was Kitshof. Add Marx to that from row and you have a powerful scrum.

Rhule was better but his defence is still too shaky. There is now a lot of flair n the side. Bring back Eben and Leyds and we are ready to Rock n Roll oaks!

ou maaaikie must alread y regretting his most unfortunate remarks about the Stormers finishing bottom of the log!
