Is it tme to swallow our pride and go back to proper super rugby with SA, Aussie and us?

Anyone else think that the 3 SH nations form falling off a cliff seems to tie in with the end of real super rugby?

If its a money thing, hold the entire competition in one country each year, something has to be done to fix this shit up.

The ship may have sailed. Not too sure how long broadcasting contracts have been agreed for, but SA is now also in the Championship league.
New Zealand cancelled SA, but it was when Covid was at its worst- and SA was one of the worst hit countries at the time. New Zealand was also more strict than nearly all countries against Covid (which worked well during the early strains).

What could be nice is having half SA teams in Europe and the other half in Super Rugby. Maybe a Super 10: 3 SA teams, 3 Ozzie teams and 3 New Zealand.
Perhaps one team from Argentina, but that makes travel more complex.
New Zealand and Australia could be in the 1st round to narrow the number of their teams down from 5 each to 3.

Its alright, cheers. You guy can keep it.

It's nice to watch a game at a reasonable hour be it in SA or the Uk.

Also Aotearoa rugby is now just basketball ish.

Same here, I think it has hurt all the SH  teams.

Nothing better than NZ vs SA teams we looked so much stronger when we played regularly

It would be good if we played the Boks more often as it raises our game for sure.

We can compete against the north with our quota riddled teams ... and win ... but not against you lot.

I think most Saffas are happy to compete against the weedy north.

It makes our quotas look better.

I like us playing up North but prefer the SH competition we had Bring back Super rugby but in the format where every side played each other - none of this crap of having the domestic sides playing each other twice - we have the CC for that

Bwahahahahaha didn't I tell you that the kbbs would come crawling once they came to their senses.

With the cash cow South Africa gone they are hurting. Playing Oz all the time has its limitations.

Now oaks we must be strategic about all this. We are in a strong position now and it will get stronger over time. Then when the time is right we negotiate a far better deal for South Africa.

Firstly, we insist on better financial terms. Secondly, we insist on the the right to remove any cheating down under ref solely at our descretion. Thirdly, we decide the traveling aspect as we have had the worst of this by far.

If all our very reasonable terms are agreed to we could consider returning. In the meantime we can earn some valuable pounds and the new experience.

I see poor old Crusader Fan has quickly swallowed his pride so good on him But we don't know where his country stand. I suspect being slow in the uptake they may not yet be quite ready to swallow their pride.

Don't know why you are gloating beenshit, your crap team need us more than we need you.

We are crap but you lost to us at your fortress Bwahahahaha

And then got their arse handed to them by Australia. No wonder you claimed your internet was down and and the under 5 girls tennis tournament was more important

Agree with mozart on the S 12.

Once the rugby officials got greedy and made it S15 with financial demands the wheels started coming off.

I prefer S12 to playing in the North.

More exciting and interesting than the Northern teams.

Three teams each for NZ, OZ and RSA one from Argentina one from the USA and one from the Pacific Islands.

The USA TV rights will bring in cash, the Pacific Islander team would ensure that the Islanders get a chance to represent their region instead of moving to NZ or OZ to play and Argentina has a large rugby following that I am sure would support a team in the Super 15.

But all that said and done Super 15 was most enjoyable even the losing games.

Bring it back.
