The joke is on you this time around.   The Stormers this week is in position 12 after Round 3 of Super 15 and deservedly so.   I suspect they are about to drop to position 13 in Round 4 - because they are going to get the hell beaten out of them this coming week.  I think they will be lucky to retain with one point on the log that position.

I predict that the Chiefs will have an easy victory over them as Coetzee will make a complete hash with selections:-

*   He will replace the only bakline player of the Stormers that did anything this weekend - De Allende - with the useless De Jongh - who is a useless attacking player - with a acceptable defensive record; and

*   He will make a comical statement on Monday that Earl Silky Hands Jantjies have shown marked improvement and that he can build on that in future matches and keep the joke in the team.

Incidentally Jantjies in all aspects of the game was more worthless than he was in Round 2  - he was saved by the fact that they decuided that Pretorius will do the kicking at goal.

The big losses this coming weekend will be the useless Stormers and even worse Bulls.   So lets sit back and start praying that things turn out better than expected

Mike we couls so easily have won both matches. You predicted we would get smashed by the sharks and we didnt. The match stats suggest we had the better of this away game and the sharks won by two penalties.

Once we get those 5 missing Boks back into the match 22 things will be even better. I suggested before the season began that Jantjes will be hard pressed to replace Grant as the number 1 flyhalf. I suspect Coetzee will make a change. De Jongh should play off the bench. Again de Jongh when things get a bit loose could be very dangerous.

He needs also to start van der Heever. I also wonder where is Harris. Is Cilliers really better.

No once our starting pack is Kitshoff, Liebenberg, Malherbe, Etzebeth, Bekker, Schalk, Vermulen and Elstadt watch out. If we need a faster loose trio we can play Fourie at 6 (best 6 in the country last year) Vermuelen and Schalk. We could field a 940 kg pack!

Groom is looking good and Aplon needs to play as an impact player. I have not given up on Taute who so far has not set the world alight.

The fact is we lost two away games narrowly that could just as well have been won.

We will welcome the Chiefies to Newlands and if they think they are in for an easy win, as you are suggestinhg, then once again you will be proved wrong. All these fancy backlines can be shut down. However a prerequisite is forward domination. Unfortunately we are missing very influential players. But the fight is there and so Go Mighty Stormers
