Teams that can still make the playoffs:

Bulls

Blues

Force

Cheifs

Brumbies

Hurricanes

Crusaders

Teams that have been guaranteed a play off spot:

Waratahs

Sharks

What team's need to do, to guarantee a play off spot:

Bulls: They need to beat the Stormers away at Newlands with a bonus point try, and so the same in the last round of the regular season to guarantee a playoff spot.

Maximum Points Possible: 43

Blues: Just need to beat the Crusaders tonight, and then do the same at Eden Park againgst the Cheifs, and hope other results go their away.

Maximum Points Possible: 46

Force: Mathematically can still make the playoffs, but well need to get a BP try win againgst the Reds tonight, then do the same in the last round againgst the Brumbies away. Of course they would need to rely on other results, like the Tahs winning, Crusaders winning.

Maximum Points Possible: 46

Cheifs: After their win againgst the Canes they have their hunt for a three peat on track, although they would be worried they coulden't put Canes away. They have one game remaining, simple they need too win.

Maximum Points Possible: 45

Brumbies: Just like Force they are still mathematical possibility, but with a bye this week they are going to have to rely on other results. Like Reds beating the Force, Crusaders beating the Blues, Stormers beating the Bulls. Then in their last regular season match they just need to beat the Force at home to guarantee a play off spot, and rely on the Blues beating the Cheifs at Eden Park.

Maximum Points Possible: 45

Hurricanes: What can they do? Nothing haha, they failed to get a BP from the game although they deserved it, Barrat's missed penalty well probably be crucial. They still have a vague chance at qualifying, their are a lot of variables that need to happen. Hurricanes need to rely on this round the Crusaders, Reds, Stormers, Tahs all winning this weekend with the Blues getting no BP (although as Canes have a better PD if they were both to be on 41 Points Canes would remain at 5th place). Then in the last Round the Blues and Force need to win. If that happens by a miracle they well hang onto 5th place or 6th at the most, and well still qualify believe it or not.

Maximum Points Possible: 41

Crusaders: Their task is simple beat the Blues tonight and they are gurenteed a playoff spot.

Probable Top Six

1. Waratahs

2. Sharks

3. Crusaders

4. Highlanders

5. Hurricanes

6. Blues/Chiefs/Brumbies

This top six well happen if Crusaders win their next two games, Stormers beat the Bulls, Reds beat the Force. In the last round Force beat the Brumbies away. It is a mathematical possibility.
