With only one week of the regular Super Rugby season left before the play-offs, where do the New Zealand teams currently stand, and what do they need to win? Find out here:

Crusaders
Currently: 2nd - 48 points
Next week: v Highlanders (home)
- Need bonus win over Highlanders to ensure top two finish and first-round bye
- Top two spot could be achieved regardless of result if Sharks lose to Stormers

Highlanders 
Currently: 4th - 42 points
Next week: v Crusaders (away)
- Need bonus point win, deny Crusaders a point and a Sharks defeat for top two spot
- Need a bonus point to secure playoff spot

Hurricanes
Currently: 5th - 41 points
Next week: Bye
- Need Blues to beat Chiefs by less than 38 points, deny Chiefs a bonus point
- Need either Brumbies or Force to fail to record a point in clash between the Australian sides.

Chiefs
Currently: 7th - 40 points
Next week: v Blues (away)
- Victory over the Blues to reach quarter-finals
- Bonus point win to help chances of home quarter-final

Blues
Currently: 9th - 36 points
Next week: v Chiefs (home)
- Need to beat Chiefs by more than 38 points, deny Chiefs a bonus point
- Need either Brumbies or Force to fail to record a point

3 kiwi teams still have a shot of getting through.Chiefs are still in it. A win against the Blues will do it. Blues, please do what is necessary.

 That equation is confusing, for one if Blues beat Chiefs, and Chiefs fail to get a Bp Canes well be 41 Chiefs 40. So Canes wld qualify because they have more championship points. Is that saying Blues win by less then 38 pts and Brumbies and Force fail to get no points, do they mean championship points or scoring points? Because if Blues win in any capacity, Canes have a better pd  then Chiefs, Cheifs season is over anyway.

 Now i looked it over again, i think its saying for Canes to qualify, Blues need to beat Chiefs, and Chiefs fail to get a Bp. And either Brumbies or Force lose without a Bp then it well be.

 Yeah im pulling for your Chiefs too, but Canes really deserve a playoff spot they have added excitement this year. Unfortunatley when it mattered they lacked consistency in very important areas, areas they have improovrd on. If Canes dont make it, games like Stormers, Brumbies, Blues e.t.c. That they really should of nailed. Go from putting 40 on the defending champs, then crumbling to the Blues a week later, same side they put 20 on earlier in the season. So from a Canes perspective Blues need to win, Chiefs get no BP, and either Force or Brumbies get no Bp. Possible but a long shot.
