Thanks Luke

I was not going to start a thread this week and will make four changes.   I will only have 11 players playing - so another disaster is in the offing.

Landers are full strength at home ...with the rain coming they should leave the roof open in their stadium and nullify the Canes running game in the wet ..

Yeah it was close early on. But a few players of yours did alot better than mine. So good win for you. I have kinda struggled for consistency all year.

No SBW. He's out of the ABS Test Series with France. Out Seven Weeks. Not sure who starts at 12 this Saturday though. TBA.

ETA: Terrence Hepetema well start in his place.

I think it is time to start thinking about SBW as being ready for retirement from international rugby.   He rarely played this year in Super Rugby and when he did he was not a house on fire.

SBW was actually pretty good for the Blues. In his 2 games. Showed his typical world class offload game still their. And was very solid for the abs last year. Hansen also has faith in him. So I wouldent expect an retirement from international rugby till at least post World Cup.

He was trashed by De Allende when he did play in one game against the Stormers - so that was one of the games - what was the other?   I do not think he did anything really good - but in the Stormers game he missed four tackles out of 8 attempts - mostly on De Allende and in one case he was stopped - but able to off-load leading to a Blues try.

On the whole an average to poor game in which he got 16 points iro Foxsport fantasy,   Not the alpha and omega in evaluation - but really indicative of  poor performance.      .

There are better 12 around in NZ  and he would not make the team based on performance this year.   He was virtually never available to play due to injuries - a sure sign that advancing age is beginning to have an impact on his performances..
