With Playoffs just around the corners. Heres the Standings. Top 8

1. Crusaders 54 Pts

2. Lions 41 Pts

3. Waratahs 39 Pts

4. Hurricanes 45 Pts

5. Chiefs 41 Pts

6. Highlanders 40 Pts

7. Jaguares 38 Pts

8. Rebels 35 Pts

If Playoffs were this weekend

QF1 Crusaders v Rebels

QF2 Hurricanes v Chiefs

QF3 Lions v Jaguares

QF4 Waratahs v Highlanders

My Canes have experienced a bit of a mid season slump to say the least. Loosing their last 3 in a row. Recently to the Brumbies. I am hopeful this complacency well be reset. With a big performance againgst the Blues in Welly next Saturday Night. To confirm a Home QF. Which may still be up in the air in their last game of the season in the Round Robin Clash with the Chiefs. I still think its prob Crusaders and Hurricanes title to lose. But I see Lions and Chiefs as outside shots.

Hurricanes have to beat the blues or they will be passed by the Chiefs, wheels have fallen of the Canes wagon completely and doubt they will come back from here.

Still they get BB back so not going to say they cant but its the Crusaders to lose from here.

Said like a true Crusader man . Canes smashed blues back in Eden park. SO with BB back, should gt th job done. And Canes prob if they make it face Saders in Semi. So well see.

The lower ranked teams may yet change and I think that the Highlanders really does not belong in the top 8 - they effectively had to get the aid of the ref to beat the Bulls.
