Super Rugby tackle stats indicate..

The top team and bottom teams did the most tackling but for different reasons.

1/ The Kings did'nt have much ball and were defending most of the time anyway.

 2/' The Chiefs defence is good and they did'nt have much ball either but still made the optimum use of possesion indicating their attack is on par with their defence.

3/The Sharks might want to brush up on their tackling perhaps.

4/ The Aussies can't tackle.

Hahahahahah feeble minded attempt to make out the kiwis can tackle... These stats really prove nothing without context... You've proved that by your first comment and the fact the last placed team and rigged kiwi conference winners are 1 and 2.... Think a better stat would be to show how many tries scored against each team.... Feeble minded kiwis....

 Stein - I would think that points allowed and percentage of tackles made would be better indicators of the quality of a teams defense. The number of tackles could easily explained by a number of factors from the teams game plan, inability to hang onto the ball or the style of play their opponents have. You would think the NZ teams would have higher numbers because they play each other twice and they keep ball in hand more than any other teams - the fact the Hurricanes are so far down the list maybe explains the fate of their season.

 Stats don't take a lot of things into context, stats are for those who know little of rugby to make judgements on what they watch.
