if u are interested in joining, follow the instructions and register, than join the leagues ive created specifically for saru.com users.
to join the league u will need to enter the following codes 870-3677 for the saru.com league and 870-3680 for the saru.com head 2 head.
for those who are unawre as to how the super XV fantasy rugby works, here is a brief description.
-fantasy rugby is a rugby team that u build by selecting players from a pool of all players in the superXV.
-when u first start out, u will have a blank team and $500,000,000.
-u than pick players in ur team that u think are going to perform that week, keeping in mind that each player costs a certain amount of money and the prices vary from player to player, so dont forget to keep the salary cap in mind when choosing ur players.
also u can only pick 4 players max from anyone club, making selections very strategical.
-every week, players are awarded certain amount of points based on how they performed in their games, the idea being to get as much points as possible.
-after the end of every round, u get 4 transfers to replace any players in ur team who are injured, suspended, or whose team are having a bye.
these are all factors to take into consideration when picking ur team.
it is important to note that once u confirm ur transfers, u will not be allowed to change ur team again, until the following week when all the round games for the week are finished.
the exception is the first week when u have an unlimited number of transefers, before bothe the super XV and the fantasy comp begins,
or when u use the wildcard. the wildcard is where once during the entire tournament, u can use the wildcard to give u an unlimited number of transfers.
-u also have a deadline in which to enter ur weeks final team, is usually 10mins before the first rugby game of the round.
-u have reserves on a bench which must be filled with players also, but dont accumulate points for u.
they fall under the salary cap also, but their main purpose is to fill in for players who suffer any last minute injuries and help leviate any week where u suffer a high number of injuries, suspensions or both.
-the saru.com league is a top of the ladder type senario where the person who has accumulated the most points will be on top of the table.
this will go on untill the finals, where the person on top wins.
-the saru.com head 2 head is where the computer randomly matches us in a one on one situation throughout the round robbin of the comp.
to win u need to beat ur opponents team by getting more points than him/her.
the top 8 players after the round robbin of the super XV ends, will than be pitted against each other in a quater finals KO stage, the 4 winners tha do the same the following week in the semis KO and then the finals afterwards.
its pretty simple and if ur a fan of rugby this can be verry addictive. if ur worried about not having enough time, than dont worry it dosent take up too much time at all, roughly 10 mins a week to sort out ur team.

if u get the highest amount of points in the week out of everybody who participates globally, u also winn $1000, roughly 8000 rand, if u are on top of the global list when the season is over, than u win $10,000 roughly 80,000 rand.
