 Bulls / Griquas - Good scrum matchup between the dominant scrums of last weekend, especially the Mellet vs Adriaanse matchup. These new rules really have made it a contest again with tightheads always a possibility. Best thing the IRB has done since the rule about taking the ball back into the 22 and kicking directly into touch.

 

Bulls seem to have endless supply of big young boys - Jacque du Plessis and Jean Cook look the real deal. Jean Cook looks and plays bigger than the 102kg he's listed at.

 

 

 

Lions team Updated - Jantjies is still on the bench - hope Ackermann does not make a mistake again and send him on at a crucial stage of the game.

Western Province Team updated

Sharks team updated. I have never before heard of Weimar Williams - wonder what his claim to fame is? I was hoping that the Sharks would play Andre Esterhuizen - the Under 21 no 12. The other position which is really debatable is the scrummie. Reinach is far better a scrummie than McLeod. This is a 50-50 situation with a chaance3 that the Lions can win - after all they have the best no 13 - Stiokkies Hanekom - at present playing in CC in their team. Very dangerous and at present the top try-scorer in that position. The Sharks seems vulnerable but my heart says the Sharks - my head the Lions.
