Last year we had 3 out of 4 "Super Hero" strips wearing light blue, with the Sharks black.
It created a comedy of errors, where the players, fans and even referee struggled to tell the teams apart. Some games one of the teams changed their kit at half time to avoid being Super Losers.
Then some games with overseas teams also played with similar colours to the SA teams away stripes.
There is not even basic understanding when a home or away teams need to wear the backup kit colours. I thought standard rules were that a home team welcomes the away team by letting them choose their first choice kit colours.
2 weeks ago the Bulls wore blue against the Auckland blues,
Today against the Highlanders, the Bulls have changed at half time to white and yellow- a football strip. At least it is easier to tell the teams apart.
Manie Libock seems to be bringing a bit more attacking ability to the Bulls backline. Morne Stain is not being missed at all.
